It certainly sounds like we had some rough ones. I landed in the ER yesterday morning with a hemorrhaging ovarian cyst. Ow. When I got home, there was a card from the girls and some chocolate covered marshmallows, so I was drugged and happy for a little while. But once the meds wore off (prescriptions just aren't the same), it was business as usual around here. I did laundry, dishes, took out the garbage, deep cleaned the bathroom (that was my frustration talking), swept the floors, fed the kids, etc. DH did take G to the park for a bit and grilled dinner, but that was the extent of his effort.
So, yeah. I'm a bit underwhelmed from yesterday.
I'm pretty much letting everything go today. G has made a pretty spectacular play doh mess and I just don't care. S is sleeping on me and I'm still in pj's.

Thanks, all. I'm fine. I've actually had this happen quite a few times. 3 times, I needed surgery to remove the cyst but the other 4 times they just ruptured or hemorrhaged and went away. Unfortunately, there's no way to know which scenario it's going to be unless I go in and get it checked.
shellbell. I'm sorry for the news and hope you can take some time for yourself.
sweetieheart32- I had the same thing happen to me with my Spectra! I was googling/troubleshooting/on the verge of asking my cousin(a coworker) if I could borrow her pump!
My MD was just a normal Sunday minus I got cards from the kiddos and DH. Since I picked out and ordered my own mothers rings it's not that special. Normal ol day.
Major case of the Monday Blahs here....super tired. Gonna go grab a soda after I'm done pumping. Need to prep for 2 'meetings tomorrow but zero desire. Gonna be in scramble mode tomorrow!!
I'm sorry to everyone who had a shitty/mediocre Mother's Day. That's just so not cool. I'm upset for you.
E was still grumpy and sick yesterday. Poor thing. DH gave me a really beautiful MD. He let me go out to Starbucks to get coffee and breakfast while he watched the baby. Then I took a shower while he made brunch. MIL and SIL came over, we gave MIL her present, and DH, MIL, and SIL got me presents. I got some pretty jewelry from MIL and SIL and DH gave me some artwork he made with E's feet and two cards, one from him and one from her. He's also going to buy me a plant. Then I got to nap in the afternoon and we got Chinese takeout. It was great. He's a sweetheart.
It was a perfect Mother's Day...and as strange as it is, I actually didn't miss my mom.
Today I'm back at work and praying the baby is doing well at daycare.

Hugs and love to all those who need it today! Especially ls2012 and shellbell. I hope you're both ok.
I worked all weekend and 3 of the last 4 nights. I'm totally exhausted, but so happy to be off tonight. I helped 2 lovely ladies become moms this weekend, and took care of a baby who is finally going home today. It was actually a pretty emotionally exhausting weekend (In a good way). So it was definitely a busy, but feel good weekend!
We had Ks 2nd Birthday Saturday and Mother's Day was just another day. DH got me a card and gift card to my nail salon, which I appreciated. The best gift would honestly to get some sleep tonight (praying for only 1 wake up)!
After waking up today I had to take both kids to Ks pedi appointment. That was a very special form of hell. But we are home. I cooked and trying to get R to nap in the ktan. Both my kids and I need to bathe today and I'm just not sure any of that's happening.
Getting my IUD tomorrow. And hopefully relaxing after this crazy stretch of days.
I'm also weaning off the pump, which I'm very relieved about. Down to 4x/24 hours.

DS1 is imitating nursing with his toys. It's hilarious. He also puts cups up to his chest and says he needs to pump. Poor guy is going to be so disappointed when he realizes he is missing the parts to do that when/if he has babies of his own.
