N40Mom that sounds so frustrating! Have you been able to see a lactation consultant to help you with his latch? She may be able to suggest some positions and techniques to help him latch on better. I say this because a baby will always be more effective at removing milk than an artificial method like a pump. Your pumping output, therefore, is not a good indicator of supply.
However, since his weight is not rising, it's going to be important for you to remove milk regularly to help your body understand how much milk it needs to make. Fx he will grow into his jaw sooner rather than later! You can do this!
