Tonight I'm going to get pedis with some friends from church. I'm so excited. I'm also getting together this afternoon with my best friend from childhood. It's going to be a busy fun day!
I think my heater kicked in. I was so hot last night. Ugh I felt like the house was so stuffy. DH didn't think it was that bad.
On the plus side, I think the hair growth on my legs has slowed. Now that's a pregnancy hormone thing I'm excited about.
This is a thing!?!? I'll be so happy if I don't have to shave every time I wear shorts out in the summer. I was in the middle of laser hair removal on my underarms when I got pg, and all that hair has come back.
TTC since '08 ME: PCOS, late DH: CBAVD due to CF IVF #1-6 all fresh cycles, all BFN Lost DH in 2015 due to CF Met SO and started TTC again SO: quality issues, started Clomid BFP 1/13/17, natural cycle (!) Due 9/19/17

Yep. At least with me it is. DS was a winter baby, so I don't remember if it happened with him. DD was a summer baby and definitely didn't have to shave much with her.
But my hair is blonde to begin with so it doesn't really show much anyway.

I signed DS up for private swim lessons (he gets really distracted with other kids around). The first time he cried the whole 30 min. We're here now and I told him earlier that we were going swimming and he flipped out. I'm told that it's pretty typical the first few times, but I still feel bad for him. It's supposed to be fun and he just freaks out and says "all done" most of the time." I hope he gets used to it soon. 😥

I didn't notice this at all last time (I was on bed rest and had to let it grow and was soooo disgusted). But this time it is growing really slowly! I love it!

So, TMI alert. Yesterday during sex my boobs squirted everywhere. This used to happen when I was BF DS, but never during my last pregnancy! I guess it happens earlier in subsequent pregnancies because the boobs know what to do? We both erupted in laughter and it kind of killed the moment haha.

How old is he? I started DS at 3 and it was terrible. Then I backed off and tried again a year later. DH had taken him swimming a few weeks before his lessons when he was 4 and something clicked and now he does fine at lessons.

@wicky, have you guys changed your filter lately? We had a similar problem with our AC last spring (it was running constantly, cool but not cold air was coming out). Changing the filter was all we needed to do to get things running smoothly - and coolly - again. Hope your problem is an easy fix, too.
Makeup as is in two weeks bc my doctor's office is so busy. Will it matter that baby is 23 weeks? Kinda mad, kinda like that I can't know the sex still. I feel like it's another bout the (everyone who sees me says something different).

He's 2. After 5-10 min he stopped crying and was cooperative. By the end, he didn't want to get out. I'm hoping that this means next week will be even easier.

I'm still BF DS2 and mine aren't doing that, lol! I'm glad though bc I would never get him weaned if they did. That kid just won't stop.
I was gone for literally two hours and came home to a sodded yard. They were supposed to come tomorrow. It was a surprise a nice one but still a surprise. The landscape company called me after the fact and said it was a surprise to them too. I guess something on their end got mixed up and our sod truck came in today.
Anyway....DH took the kids to go by more hoses since we threw out most of ours when we moved. I have my pedi tonight, so DH had to take the kids with him.

I have to call the city. I'm nervous to call. I'm not normally one to call and complain. We have a spot in the road in front of our house where water pools up. It's really bad in the winter because it just is ice then. Our neighbor said he heard the city was going to fix it but neighbor said we should all call and complain about it so the city realized it needs to be fixed.
Also, there is a drainage ditch behind our backyard, except it doesn't drain. Apparently the city is coming up with a "plan" for that too. I don't want that to become a breeding ground for mosquitoes this summer with standing water in it. I also don't want standing water with two little kids running around.

Ugh. So I need to call I guess and complain.
Definitely, definitely call. Not sure how large your city is but in my city they will never just "notice" a problem. In fact, the infrastructure renewal program in my city defines areas of need partially according to how many resident calls they receive. So a pothole that 10 people call about will be ranked as higher priority than one that only 1 person calls about. So get your neighbours to call too!

Woke up this morning feeling extremely dizzy. I was a bit off balance and ran into a couple door frames going to and from the bathroom. I've never experienced this before and hoping it wears off the longer I'm up. I need to go grocery shopping but don't feel comfortable driving if I don't feel 100% right. Google tells me it can be a common thing because of the growing uterus putting pressure on blood vessels. Any one else have this happen to them?
Never experienced this, but to get pressure of the uterus off of your pelvis a few yoga poses could help: downward dog, cat/cow, child's pose, or puppy pose. Hope you feel better soon!

Just popping in to say "Hi!" Work has been super busy lately but hopefully I'll be caught up soon. We also put our house on the market so every spare moment has been spent cleaning and prepping for our showings or looking at houses. I don't like anything I've seen on the market yet. DH is seriously trying to convince me that we could do a few months in a tent if we need to. Life is crazy.
salmon2017, - Hope your DS is feeling better today! luciddreamer, - Hoping swim lessons get better for him. Maybe he just needed the beginning to adjust. @wicky, - I have never experienced that but I second trying some yoga. FX that fixes it for you.

I've had that happen a few times this pregnancy and with my son. It likely could be a combo of low blood sugar and low blood pressure. Drink lots of water, get a snack, and put your feet up if you can (I know it's hard with a toddler). Of course, you should contact your doctor if it doesn't resolve.

One of our new UPS guys is dropping packages off in front of our garage (on the side of our house) instead of the front porch. He put a really small package there, and I just happened to see it before backing out. I would have destroyed it, as it was right where my tire would have been. He's left a couple of other things there as well. Should I call and complain? Why would they start putting it there? It's not more safe there than on our front porch, so I can't really understand the logic.
I know this is kind of a FWP, but I'm annoyed and don't want to back over stuff I buy.
laurenash323, I would go ahead and get some preparation H to keep on hand. It will keep you from having more problems later in 3rd tri. Also, lots of Epsom salt baths. I wish I could say I'm not in that club but unfortunately, I am.
