icedtea I'm super torn about whether to get it done. I originally wanted to next week but now I'm debating whether to wait and try to let her come on her own for a bit longer. I'm building up things to look forward to if she comes late so hopefully I won't be as miserable.
It won't really do anything if she isn't already ready, which is why I was cool with it.
Though, to be honest, I'm feeling a lot more okay about induction in general (after 40w) than I was before. She's fully formed, she'll be fine when she comes out, and I am done.
I'm feeling the same way about induction. I have one scheduled for 40w on the dot bc I have huge babies and am concerned about size if I go over... I don't think my OB is but, I'm also done, so. We'll see how the next week goes.
icedtea exactly a week. They set me an ultrasound for 39+6 to screen for size and talk about it but I'm leaning more and more toward taking the induction at 40.
We had a bit of a rough night - V was up midway between 12 and 3, and L was up between 3 and 6. It wasn't horrible, thankfully. They both got a good stretch in from 6 to 1:30, with a morning dream feed. I'm hoping we can figure out how to shift that from midnight to 7 am... My SIL visited this afternoon and reassured some of our new parent fears as both normal and BTDT. AND, best of all, I had dinner with a glass of wine before 8 pm! It was only pizza, but it's still progress.
rosesquared we were terrified to bring DD home and even more terrified after her two week appt that no one would make sure we were doing a good job keeping her alive until she was 2 months old but you can do it! It's hard with your first to relax but I wish I had made myself chill out a little more so I could have enjoyed her the way I'm enjoying LO. I wouldn't even leave her long enough to nap cuz I didn't think anyone else could care for her well enough. Let me just say...take all the naps when they're offered!
nikonine 2u2 is def hard! I don't want to neglect my calm baby but DD will not be ignored!
