For me, it was seeing the FYFF pictures and Monday coffee thread that gave me courage to post after months of lurking. I don't remember what my actual first question was, but I know I wrote an intro thread. D'oh!
My first post was asking about a zulily diaper. Bahahaha ha! But I stuck around bc of ABobLoblawLawBomb and chickypoo2468 talking about making it more of a community.
Someone was asking about a sewing machine. I do not remember anything more than that. It was before we found out about IF, so I spent a lot of time lurking.

I have no idea, it was way back at the other place, surely something that I felt I could provide some input on. I started lurking there probably 7 years ago, and I know it was a long time before I ever posted anything.
I can't even remember. I started lurking just before we were TTC. I think I may have jumped in on GGTSSG or something like that a few times before really jumping in after a lurker thread.
I do remember one of the first gifs I posted was about coffee. Duh.
This was circa 2014.
You and I both delurked in a GTKY lurker callout thread. I was a little ahead of you, but it wasn't by a lot. I do remember feeling a little threatened that you were taking over my resident newbie reg status.
I think that I stuck around to help advise other newbies on their NB stash questions. It felt like the one thing that I was qualified to respond about by way of my constant research on the subject.
Someone asked a question about cloth diapers and daycare that I decided to take upon myself to answer...with exactly zero experience of cloth diapering a baby in daycare at that point.

I think it was because my inserts had a funny smell, and someone somewhere told me to avoid Fluff Love. So I searched, found this happy little place, and hung around ever since.
I am still in the process of unlurking but I think I introduced myself a little while ago in a thread calling out lurkers. Then I participated in the political thread for a bit. Then started my first post asking about portable washers (I have thus far purchased and returned two washers, which is a huge pain in the ass, and am currently waiting for my third - hopefully third time is the charm).

I'm pretty sure that I didn't unlurk for diapers, but for friends gifs.

sounds about right
In all fairness, I had at least run a daycare for the previous few years at that point. Nevermind that I had cloth diapered my own kid for, like, a day or something.

I'm pretty sure I just barreled in and asked a question about wash routines since we were looking for/about to buy a house and finally have our own washer. I was a Bump refugee who found out about this place via whoever was leaving hints on that CD board.
All I remember was in 2012, I was pregnant with Pip and I saw a link to the cloth diaper board and clicked on it out of curiosity. I saw what I liked so stuck around, asked a couple questions about different options and then after Pip was born and I started using cloth there was no silencing my opinions on some things so I started responding to threads.

I can't remember. I don't think I posted much during my pregnancy, but may have asked for advice about wetness sensitivity and potential food allergies when DS was a couple of months old. That would have been summer 2012. And I probably started chiming in on diaper laundry posts. I think some time in 2013 there started to be a lot of threads about food and I really enjoyed participating in those.
