I'm struggling with this as well, but I've put a few items that have seen wear and tear from the first time around. Off the top of my head-
Bottle sets Nursing supplies A hooded towel and some baby soaps A couple of bulk kimono wraps and short sleeve onesies (we had a winter baby so we need warm weather newborn stuff) Car seat (traded in when we got our forever seat) First aid kit Diapers and butt paste All purpose cotton blankets A new diaper bag that works better for doubles (going with a backpack this time) A lightweight carrier (k'tan) - my ergo is too warm and DS1 hated to be wrapped A second camera/monitor
- crib (DS's is a convertible, right now it's in toddler bed mode) - dresser - double stroller (not 100% sure on this) - a second camera for the monitor (not 100% sure on this either, we might just stop using the monitor with DS)
I think those are the major things. I bought another RnP (they were on sale on Amazon a few weeks ago) just so I can have one upstairs and one downstairs because lugging it around the house last time was a PITA.
So far my list has: first aid/grooming kit Nursing pads/lanolin Bibs white noise machine Pacifiers Baby hangers Bottle brush Teether replacements More wipes/small diapers Gas drops/etc
I did get myself a new baby carrier already, a Lillebaby when they had a mystery box sale.

So, we were soooo sure that we were only going to have our daughter and be done, so we bought everything gender specific. Of course, now we are having a boy, so we basically have to start over.
We'll need the basics, but on top of those things, I'm registering for/planning to buy:
Nursing tanks, tops, and bra Pumping bra Breastfeeding supplies Bottles Bandana drool bibs (I think these are so stinking cute on boys!) Shopping cart hammock (I left DD in her carseat in the shopping carts and had no idea it was a big no no. I always kept my hand on it, but I never felt safe having her there). Ring sling (hoping this will be cooler than the other carrier we have) Another humidifier Another camera for our baby monitor

Hi everyone, sorry I've been MIA around these parts the past few months. Trying to participate more!
Thankfully we have most of everything from DD1, but in would like to get:
Ring sling - I have an Ergo and Baby Bijorn but DD1 hated them and so did I. They were hard to get her into and she would get so mad. Hoping this DD will be okay with the sling.
Breastfeeding supplies
New bottles and nipples
White noise machine
Woombie swaddles
Diapers
Do I need to replace the parts on my pump? I didn't use it much last time, but not sure. 🤔

I would, especially if it's been a while since you've used it. I'm planning on getting a new pump through my insurance but using my old one as a backup, and I'll be buying new parts for it.

Yeah it's been almost 3 years since I've used it. How do you go about getting one through insurance? I can't remember how I did it last time...

LOL I don't remember either. I'm on different insurance now anyway. I do remember last time that my ins co wouldn't let me file a claim until X number of days before my due date and then I wasn't allowed to pick it up until after DS was born. I'm sure if you call the customer service number for your ins co they'll be able to point you in the right direction.

I just called my insurance company (also different than what I had last time), they said at 28 weeks I need to get a RX from my OB and then they will tell me what kinds are available and I can pick from there, and then they will send it to me. I think last time I just ordered from Edgepark and gave them my insurance info, so I guess it depends on your insurance co.

Now that you said that I think I had to get an RX too last time. I hope this time they just send it directly to me instead of me having to go pick it up from a medical supply store.
New breastpump New breast feeding supplies New crib/furniture Bedding Maybe new bottles - I was able to keep a few from the first. White noise Humidifier Air purifier Maybe double stroller Bottle warmer Diaper bag New pack n play (gave our old one away) New thermometer New towels Diaper rash ointment Baby carrier (I don't like my current one) Diapers/wipes Some clothes (not going crazy since I have clothes from baby1) Also a new bassinet (ours broke in the move) We got the owlet this time around and the 4moms chair
I still have more to go through the swing, bouncer, rocker, etc to make sure nothing else is damaged.
Pump parts Nipples for the bottles we have Nursing pads A ring sling Pacifiers Possibly some more burp cloths. DS was a HUGE spitter, so I'm not sure how stained/stinky they will be.
I think that's it. If it's a girl, I'll end up buying clothes after she's here.

This is a good thread. I totally didn't think about getting new nipples for bottles or new pump parts. Also getting: -diaper bag backpack style this time -baby wash -diapers -new Rock and play bc we stored ours in the basement where the cat is -crib mattress (old one is in DS toddler bed) -new bottle brush -formula (I will probably need to supplement based on last time) -new wash cloths -double stroller -new nose frieda
