We took DS1 to a kindergarten meet the teacher and tour the cafeteria thing this morning. They've done a few of these but as a working mom, we haven't been able to attend any of them since they are always on wednesdays at 9 am. So, excited I was able to take him to this last one especially since he got a tshirt and keychain with his school mascot. He was excited and I'm so excited for him to start school in the fall! I like his daycare/preschool but I just think this will be so much better for him. Glad DH is off this week so he could drive and go also, otherwise I wouldn't be able to go.

I'm HGTVing, even though I have a list of chores to do (and knowing that being active will help move things along).
TMI moment: I've been having crazy amounts of discharge for ~5-6 hours now. It goes back and forth between pink/brown and clear. I'm assuming it's just more of the mucus plug doing its thing...? Some of it gets on the pantyliner, but it's mostly when I wipe, and I don't think it's thin enough to be fluid.
I feel like my poor 4 year old has watched too much tv lately as welll. I felt bad and made cookies with him this morning. I still haven't gotten dressed or showered with though. Here is a picture of my little one hanging out on my lap.
Yesterday I sneezed violently and it was painful. Now I'm terrified at the thought of sneezing after the c-section and how painful that must be.
Sneezing, coughing and laughing suck for awhile - I'm not gonna lie. They say to hold a pillow to your stomach when you do it but that doesn't work for me. I just lean forward as much as I can and it helps. C-section recovery is not fun but take all the drugs and you'll be fine!

Both kids and H are napping right now so it's nice and quiet in my house. We went to my parents' house so DD could go swimming and then we took DD out for frozen yogurt while my parents watched DS. I guess that wiped everyone out!
Enjoying the last hour before the big kids get back from their week with Mimi. It has been wonderful just being DD2 and I have gotten the chance to recover with plenty of time on the couch. Today the circus begins and I'll see what it's like to actually have three kids. Ready to see my big ones! A week is so long. DD2 is ready to see them too:
I just got back inside (covered in sweat) because the dog ROLLED IN CRAP and needed a bath. I love my dog but right now I'm so very annoyed with him.
Yup one of my dogs totally does this and it's usually right after he gets groomed because he can't stand being clean. Today I had to wipe him down and he was covered in dirt from rolling around. Awful!!!! Bending over to him is NOT easy. 😝
