My thought was to do one day photos and print thank yous at Walgreens with him playing with stuff but then that still has to be mailed. Text is green lol
Ugh- so now they want me to come tomorrow night at 11 pm. Then start the pitocin at 5 am. Whyyy.
No to that. No. You're not just a schedule, you're a human. I can understand 11pm if you needed cervadil but no one sleeps in the hospital. You can get up and come in at 5.
Looks great JoBub ! What week are you? DS2 was measuring 6 lbs at 35 week u/s and he still was just 8 lb 3 ounces
I'm 32 weeks. Measuring around 35 weeks. I'm trying not to freak out about it. I was 3 weeks ahead a month ago and still 3 weeks ahead today, so maybe he just had an early growth spurt and will slow down for the last few weeks. I saw the CNP today and she said she's not concerned about it because all the measurements were proportional (all in the 80-90s percentiles) and the head was biggest (96%). She said if the size was due to the GD, we would see a really large abdomen size and smaller in the other measurements and that would be concerning. But the situation is unusual enough that she wants me to come back in a week and see the doctor.
can I send text message thank yous with him playing with stuff lol?
Um yes!! This sounds like a great idea actually. Can I do this instead of the written thank you's guise?? With the exception of mominthemaking14 gift, that monstrosity of markers and stuff is hiding in the closet currently lol. Waiting for the day when we feel brave enough to open it. Might just have to take a few pieces out at a time to give to her.
Lol we've been letting A pick the gifts lately, my bad N will love it. A has one as well she used it outside only.
And if you're coming in at 11- you won't be checked in and able to sleep until after midnight so no to depriving you of sleep before labor
I know. I pushed back and asked what time I could come in the morning and they said no to that. Idk how else to push it, unless I just ask to be scheduled next week instead but that makes me nervous.
JoBub idk, I assume it's for their scheduling so they can have the room and me prepped ahead of time. I'm sure if I wanted to start the pitocin sooner they would but I think I'll try to sleep

That sucks. Sorry. I would probably try to sleep all day tomorrow if I were you. I don't think I'd be able to sleep in the hospital with all the excitement/anticipation.

I totally agree with you mrscatfarmer13. I send thank you notes because it's expected, but I would be fine to never receive another thank you note again.

You can just not show up. They can't do anything about it.

Is it hospital scheduling or your doctors office staff? I would say you need to talk to the doc and tell them you just can't do that and see what other options they have. They've known you will be 38 weeks with twins and need an OR for a long time now. I would imagine the OR only books Monday- Friday. If you went into labor on your own, they would still have you in the OR over the weekend. They need to figure it out. They can't make you do that. Might be nice for them but no. I would be asking for lemasters on the phone because she don't play.

lindsay I went in at 9pm for an induction and it sucked! I didn't sleep at all that night (excitment. I didn't feel anything until they broke my water at 6am) and didnt actually have her until 9pm the next night. I was beyond exhausted. I would try everything to get around that!

Does anyone have any experience with ringworm? DD has some spots on her back that look exactly like ring worm, so I bought lotromin for ringworm and have been putting it on for over a week now. A couple of the spots are better, but the others look more rashy and more red instead of looking better. Is there a stronger cream the pedi can prescribe or is it not worth the trip to the Dr? Pic for reference.
Ok been on and off the phone the last hour trying to get this all clear. they will start a low dose of pit when I get there, and let me sleep with some meds or ambien if needed. Then can increase the pit if needed in the morning. I'm ok with all that. Not ideal but I'm fine with it.

I was going to say I just texted me sister since she works in l&d and she also said to call the doctors office and ask why 11pm. You should be able to come in at 8 or whatever.

babylove518 could it be eczema, psoriasis, bug bites? I get dry spots that look like that on my arms/legs in the Winter. I thought ringworm usually had a whitish/lighter center and the red formed a "ring" around it. The pic looks like the entire spot is pink/red.

She does occasionally get similar looking spots in the winter. I don't think they are bug bites. And they don't really seem to bother her. I will see if we can get into the pedi Fri.

Hi guys! Crazy day. My boss got irritated at me and told me that I'm starting to drop balls (I'm not, but things are crazy) because I didn't email something yesterday that we had said we would email today. Eye roll. Anyway I'll catch up tonight.
I don't want to go home. It's so hot in my house. sstwinklinglites I was hoping to invite you guys over some evening this week to get away from the hotel, but you would probably die if you got there and it was like 85° inside. LOL

When are they fixing that shit?
Also you need this
LOL that's fantastic. They're coming tomorrow at 1:00. I could have probably had someone sooner, but I was trying to schedule around my work schedule. It was stupid. I should have just taken personal time yesterday to get it fixed

Tie up some frozen peas to a fan and you're all set for tonight.
