Good morning! Preschool day today. I didn't sleep very restfully last night for some reason. I had a very vivid, movie-like dream which is odd because I don't normally remember my dreams.
Today is B's last day of preschool for the year, and his last day at THIS school If we are able to come back here in a couple years he'll be in Kindergarten. Hopefully C would be able to start there, though--it's been such a wonderful place.
guster we need new cushions too. Despite being under a covered patio, the sun + pollen + Bradley + dog has done a number on them. I'm thinking navy this time; maybe they'll all be on sale by the time we get moved into a house in August.
Morning. My night alone was amazing... in mom terms 😉 I researched tile for our mudroom and went through both kids closets and drawers putting away too small clothes. I tried to sleep in but couldn't get past 7:45. Unfortunately, no wine. I stayed strong and stuck to the weekday diet. Boo.
I'm going to head into the cities to tile shop. I found one I love at a store here but it is $8/sq ft which seems high. So I'm going to check lowes and Home Depot for something comparable.

Woohoo! Bagel vibes and I hope everything goes smoothly!
@lizb, i'm leaning to a solid red. I think it'll look nice and bright. They are so expensive. I did just see that kohls has $50 off, so I might bite the bullet and buy there.
Have you checked Wayfair? Their prices are usually pretty good with a massive selection.
LOLOL I read this immediately after guster post saying she wouldn't know where to start for buying sex toys. Then "have you checked wayfair??!"
I thought... wow, Wayfair has really expanded their product line since I was last on their site
Guys I lost my Apple Watch 2 evenings ago. There is a good chance it got flushed down the toilet and I'm mad. It's all because I was annoyed by the tan line on my arm. I put it in the pocket of my shorts, which are shallow, and noticed right after I flushed the toilet that I heard a clink sound and that it wasn't in my pocket anymore. I've looked all around my bathroom and can't find it and I've retraced my steps too. Ugh.
Thanks. I tried pinging it after I lost it that night but I couldn't hear it anywhere. And now it's for sure dead because it only lasts a day and a half. I think it's gone forever.
Oh no trtlcrzy! Are they really that small that theyd go down so easily?
I once lost my ID card in college that way, but it clogged the toilet.
I texted my friend who is our plumber and he said it is very likely. I'm just surprised I didn't see anything. As soon as I heard the clink I looked and saw the tail end of the flush but no sign of the watch.

Hi. Work was busy this morning, but slowing down. I just finished stuffing my face at lunch.
I'm kind of bummed. We are FINALLY going on our beach getaway this weekend and it will be storming every day we are there. We might get a break when we get there Saturday, but it looks like Sunday and Monday will be all day rain. I was so excited for M to enjoy the beach, now I'm not sure how much beach time he will get. I have the worst luck with weather on vacations. It always seems to be exactly what I don't want on the exact days I book. I'm praying that we get a few clear hours each day. Please sweet baby Jesus!
Nothing much going on here. Dh went back to work and I'm trying to unpack and get back on schedule. I also have two dr appointments today, which is. It delightful.
My dad just text me that it is snowing in Casper. I got out just in time.
klongoria11 I'm so glad y'all went. Did she love it?
oh yes! You should have seen her face when other kids got scared and started crying. She was like, "why the eff are you crying? She's a freaking Sesame Street fairy"
Then we went outside and a little girl told me she was a cat and started rubbing her head all over me. I better not get lice or something.
I'm going to continue talk about this because it's still on mind. Since we haven't bought a house yet, we have to continue to keep bringing our kid to see them so it's weighing on my mind.
RE: sitting on a couch while looking at a house.
DH takes what feels like forever looking at houses. I am certain I've sat down on at least two occasions while waiting for him to finish. We just sold our home and I would never have expected people to avoid touching/sitting on the furniture.
V was sitting on an older family room couch, without shoes, like an adult. I was standing next to him, the agent said rather gruffly "Don't climb all over the furniture."
First, I would have strongly preferred he addressed me as the parent. Second, that's not how I would have spoken to my own child since he's three and his behavior was acceptable.
This experience is giving me anxiety about seeing more homes because that's a lot of stress to worry about him touching an old crappy sofa, much less stuff he could actually break.

calishove, that is so weird. Last weekend looking at apartments with my friend, the lady specifically told us to sit on the furniture so that we could feel what it would be like to actually sit and live in the space. Was he your real estate agent, or the seller's?
