muscari I'm really sorry this is happening to you. Glad that you are part of a union and I hope they can work out a settlement. It's disgusting that a coworker would go to those lengths to have you dismissed and that your employer wouldn't give you a chance to respond to the "complaints". I hope you can find another job with a more positive work environment where you are appreciated.

Well, she ended up falling back asleep for the most part, but she would wake up every time I tried laying her in her bed. So I ended up bringing her into bed with me and she'd only sleep with me holding her. She just woke up and now MH is with her while I'm still in bed. I'm so f-ing tired but I don't want to sleep the day away. Ugh.
muscari omg I am so sorry. I really hope the union can help you get financial coverage through your leave and figure things out. but holy crap I hope the people that did this to you get the karmic justice they deserve as the shitty fucking people they are..... I am vindictive- I think you are way nicer than me lol so I will just leave it at that because I could go on a rant right now about how I hope they go straight to hell... 😡😡😡
AFM, today is packing all day then meeting up with some friends who moved OOT but are here for the weekend! Then tomorrow is more packing and the final walk through for our new condo!! And then we are going to IKEA to pick up the baby's dresser because of the 20% off sale they are having!
I am so exhausted. I slept terribly and my new mattress isn't working the wonders I hoped it would. I know being pregnant makes it harder to see how I'd really react to it, but I'm bummed because I'll really have no way of knowing if I really love it. I guess if my DH loves it we'll keep it but I can't make a real decision and the idea of having to exchange it and not like another one is exhausting, so oh well for me.
therealbug YAY for more meal options. I am glad *something* good came of your delayed lunch. Your hospital sounds like they are on top of customer satisfaction, or at least the food service area is, so that's kind of nice. And now I want BBQ. Yummmm.
therealbug I must have missed it...why are you in the hospital?
I think I missed updating on this board, it's been a weird week.
One of the twins has IUGR. On Tuesday we had a growth scan and doppler check on blood flow which picked up one elevated reading on her umbilical cord blood flow. Since we were 25+5, the MFM decided that she wanted to start steroid shots as well as a round of magnesium just in case they needed to deliver in the next few days.
Essentially, they can better monitor Baby B for any signs of distress and do an emergency c-section if necessary. I'm probably in the hospital until delivery but the MFM did say that if I make it past a certain point (30 weeks?) with no abnormal readings and everyone looking good then I could possibly be allowed to go back home. OB thinks I'll be in until delivery and that it will be before 30 weeks.
Oh wow. I will keep everything crossed that you can make it to 30 weeks and come home! Definitely keep us posted!
muscari that is some shit right there. I'm so sorry. I agree that you probably don't want to continue working there if they did indeed let you go illegally, so I really hope they compensate you accordingly.
I spent $1500 on my car today. They said I need brakes/rotors, but my brother said he could do it so hopefully that will save us money.
We went looking for bedroom furniture for T. She seemed pumped. We are hoping grandma will pay for it or at least some of it. She wanted to buy her a bed for some reason, but I think she just wants to spend $100.
