goldenlove3, it would depend! I'd expect at least the blood-related sibling to attend! But I think it depends on how into t-ball their kid is! Will he (the kid) be a jerk at the baptism because he couldn't go to his game? I'm with you, I'd be disappointed too!

ClassyMrsA Oh poor baby. I hope it is the tooth and everything gets better once it comes through. This last week will hopefully fly by! Maybe I forgot, but where in CO are you going? Any big plans?
jubilantsquirrel She did or didn't object? lol. Guess I'll head over there and see what's going on.
cheshie6 He's almost 4 so I don't know if he would notice. He loves his cousin though.
dashook - me too! My husband and I agree that family events should trump little kids sports but we divide in our opinion regarding once the child is in middle/high school. He was an athlete all the way through college (elite - he was an All American wrestler) and sports were his life growing up. His parents used to drive them 60 minutes one way two or three nights a week for practices. Blows my mind. He agrees that youth sports are overblown but wants our boys to be actively involved in sports from a young age. I am the opposite - don't have an athletic bone in my body. I have a hard time relating.
my H is OBSESSED with sports. He has played hockey all his life and his father and him used to travel all over for tournaments. I have a feeling this may cause an issue when our kids are older too.
This is us except basketball. I played sports my whole life too, so I get it to a degree, but I'm not willing to let tball run my life.

goldenlove3 I'm sorry for all of it. That MIL thing would rub me the wrong way too. I wouldn't let it ruin my day and make it about them though. If they come, great. If not, he's still going to be surrounded with a ton of love on his special day.
ClassyMrsA add me to the can't deal club. I started laughing at one point last night it became so ridiculous.
kleigh let me know which desk to send the dick glitter to. Wtf, dudes? FX he's just checking in with you and will be offering support. Any fun lunch plans with your H today?

After what seemed like some excellent forward progress in the sleep training front for a few days last night was hell. She didn't fall asleep for the first time until 1:30. 1:30?!!!! After that it was no less than five wake ups by the time H went to work. She was so upset and really not like herself. I hope that three more teeth come popping through today because I think I'll go insane if I have to do that again. I feel so bad for her and I wish I know what was wrong so I could fix it.
Oh and I put my big girl pants on and fired the nanny/mothers helper. I feel like such a weight has lifted off my shoulders.

sophiegrace Yay go you!! I'm glad you got rid of her. One less thing to worry about. And I really hope M can get some relief soon. I feel so bad for these teething babies.

No no no jubilantsquirrel the vaca whatever !! That sounds amazing!!!
sophiegrace Thanks girl! We ate in the cafe bc of rain, we got the nachos grande !!! Did you guys do anything differently yesterday ? I wish I knew why our kids hate sleep so much. As much as I want to keep her next to me forever, I don't know how much longer I can do it. And I feel shitty for saying this bc when I hear that M goes to bed at 12-1am I cringe, I literally cringe bc I know one evil doesn't compare to the next.. AVs always out by 6:30-7, but then tosses and turns and whines and cries and wakes nonstop the entire night, this is not an exaggeration, it truly is the entire night nonstop. I want to cry. I don't even need that much sleep but it's getting insane that she can't sleep longer than a 5-10 minute stretch without waking up. Then doze again. Then wake 10 minutes later. Then doze again. Then wake 10 minutes later. Like gawd just stay up then, stop playing with my emotions. /rant over. Sorry. Lol. Can you see I'm feeling it too this past weekend.
Also sophiegrace I'm so glad you fired her !! You need to be comfortable with whoever is around to help, they should be making you more at ease, not less.

H is traveling for work for the next 2 weeks. I always get a little bit of anxiety when I have to take care of O by myself. But it always turns out fine. No cookies! I'm getting back on my diet since this preg weight is not going to magically melt off. Plus I don't think I can use the "I just had a baby" excuse since he's 6mo now!
