How far? 38 +2
New with baby? Size of a Pomeranian dog haha
Name: sort of decided
Any appts? Had one yesterday. Baby is good. RCS date changed. Then they changed my time again this morning. Not feeling so confident that it's going to happen on said date/time now with my OB. At some point I'll have to decide if someone else should just do it before baby arrives on her own. But now I won't starve until that evening. I'll be at the hospital before 6am for 8am surgery
New symptoms? I keep waking up with what I feel I like are random contractions but then later I decide it's gas pain, I think? I'm getting tired too..
Rants/raves? My ankle is still in rough shape. I drove into the office Monday and Tuesday but I was wiped last night. I'm WFH today but planning one last day in the office tomorrow. WFH Friday. So now that my c-section was moved to next wed, is it so horrible that I haven't told work? I don't care if I end up using a vacation day. I'm not working Tuesday. I did have to schedule an OB appt that day so DH is coming and we plan to have a nice lunch
Rave: DH has been taking care of everything so I can rest my ankle!
Rant: I thought I'd only have to deal with my parents and MIL in the hospital this time which is just as much as I can handle. I'm a very private person with that stuff. Luckily my mom gave my the heads up that my random aunt and her odd 90 year old husband were planning on making a trip out of it, to come "keep me company" in the hospital for a day or so, then hit up some local museums, book a hotel room, like it's their friggin vacation. They plan to chill in my room, reading books, holding my hand, in case I need help. What. The. Actual. F#CK. How are people so oblivious! I saw her last week and she never mentioned it to me, so I could have politely said "thanks but no thanks. I don't need you and your weird ass husband watching me relearn how to BF". And my dad is just as clueless and will probably provide a map to my hospital room to her. My mom hopes she got the message across, that I absolutely don't want visitors. But I would never ever assume it was ok just show up to visit someone in the hospital after they have a baby (for what sounds like an extended period of time) without an invite. What is wrong with people?!? I'm so fired up! I'm going to lose my sh!t.
Bought for baby? A coming home outfit!
Anything for myself? I went to a baby shower. It was nice to have some time to just chill and enjoy being around baby stuff. No plans this whole weekend either
GTKY: yes! I love getting birth announcements and I love sending them. I have a mini photo session set up in a few weeks to get some good pics! I can spend hours on tiny prints finding the perfect one! I'm silly!!
