goldenlove3 total anecdote, but my dentist has twins that had some lopsidedness from being squished and she swears by cranial osteopathy. She's talks about it all the time. Kind of strange actually...
I'm so sorry that H seemed to have a bit of a sour belly danib, but I'm glad the puking incident was a one off. We had an exorcist style throw up awhile ago that terrified me. It made a simple spit up seem like nothing.
cookswithwine9 I still have to RTMFT so I'm sorry if you already mentioned it, but incase you didn't..how's O feeling today?

sophiegrace That's good to hear! I'll be happy even if it helps a little bit. Like I said the flatness doesn't bother me I just don't want him to have a crooked head forever.

sophiegrace no fever this morning! He's still snotty though. I notice he normally gets fevers in the evening so I'll be interested to see how tonight goes. Thanks for asking I was working myself into a tizzy last night.

I've always heard it's common for a fever to spike in the evening (when a child is sick, I mean). Not sure what the biological reasoning behind that is, and maybe it's an old wives tale? Maybe sophiegrace or someone else in the healthcare field can weigh in...
goldenlove3 I know she's been swamped lately, but tallblonde 's J wore a helmet for a bit, IIRC. Maybe she can offer some insight if that is the path you end up on. She might have tried some other things, not sure. Hopefully the cranial osteopathy will do the trick, if you go that route!
B had a flat spot but once he was sitting up and rolling it improved enough to where we didn't need to do anything further. Our pedi was willing to give us til B was 8 months old or so for things to round out before we would need to address it medically.
Congrats on finding the rental LizInFL. Did you ever book the other way of your flight to Maine?
As for naps sophiegrace, O often only took a 20 min nap in the morning while at daycare in their stroller and then a longer afternoon nap at 1yo. On the winds he took 2 naps, 1 or 2 hours each. M will probably be able to take a stroller nap once she's exhausted in the afternoon. Get a good stroller cover and you're good. Def no evening cat nap. And yes, Disney is crazy now! If you were going to be going on a lot of rides I would suggest the fast pass, but not necessary with what you'll be doing with M.
So O woke up in the middle of he night with a fever of 103 and vomited! So he obviously stayed home today. His fever has been gone (with meds) since 1, so I'm hoping it isn't just covering it up and that he's fine tomorrow.
Also, I'm going to be really happy to be finalized in our next "home".
from what I can gather, Mcb shut it down due to people saying shit about her. I have not read everything because I am too burned out from all of this, so I can't confirm anything.
I just got home so I need to catch up, but this seems to be accurate.
Enchanted & Co are going to figure out the next step, I believe.

Ok, well apparently APTM is not deleted and it was just a joke (read: tantrum) that McB pulled. I guess for revenge for all the shit thrown her way the last few days?

Is anyone else still dealing with flat/lopsided head? Our pediatrician was still just 'eh' about helmets but asked if we wanted one. She also recommended some type of head therapy that the other doctor in the clinic does. She said it's not going to be a huge change but they usually see some improvement from it.
LizInFL is right, ds had brachicelaphy (sp?), Which is when the head is wide than long and was bad enough that insurance paid for all but $300 of it. Our pediatrician thought we were ridiculous, but we went to children's and he said it wouldn't hurt. We got it at almost 9 months and he wore it until close to 14m...we prob should have stopped at 13 though. We did see some improvement and still noticing some now at 3.5 since his head is still growing.
Advice - if you do it, get started ASAP since the head grow slows after the first 6 months. Also keep him off the flat spot basically all the time if possible. I basically had him off his head except when driving somewhere. Like if it's on one side from feeding him always in the same position, switch sides. Once they sit up it's easier to keep them off the flat spot. I blame j starting daycare and having a huge growth spurt then and always being in a bouncy seat.
It's an agonizing decision and I never posted pix of j in it since I was self conscious, and it felt like forever, but now we barely remember it. Let me know if you have any questions. Good luck!

tallblonde Thank you! C is actually not on his back much except for when he sleeps. Not much we can do about that except those head shaping pillows, which I am looking at. We're going to try the cranial osteopathy for a couple weeks but the helmet is probably our next option. We've been told this whole time that it'll work itself out, and maybe it still will, but I wish we would have done more in the beginning. I was trying switching sides and rotating him in the crib but it didn't change much.
