It's a pretty involved prayer I can't imagine she learned it from a kid there.
Thats really strange... I got nothing. Our prayer is "God is good, God is great, let us thank him for our food Amen."
I'm really trying to figure it out I know they wrapped up culture month ... you've stumped me
The one she is saying goes something like this... Wiggle wiggle wiggle...way up high way down low out to the side in the middle. Thank you for the world so sweet, thank you for the food we eat amen. If I could post a video I would be I don't know how to on here.

This is weird. The local Waldorf school is not religious at all, but has a grateful poem they say before they eat. That wouldn't have an amen, though.

Oh I think she might have also said thank you god for everything. So it's def religious and not just a generic grateful thing.

Speaking of religious...I drove past an episcopal church in Montgomery with a big sign out front that said 'all are welcome, no exceptions!' It made me really want to go there.

I love this. I've seen a few churches in our area of different denominations with similar signs. Mine did a sermon on how in a group our size there's bound to be persons that identify as part of the LGBTQ community and how Jesus helped exactly those people that society shunned and as good Christians we need to be open and welcoming. They had a guest pastor video message a sermon; he's gay. And they emphasized that they stand by you're born this way and that's how God made you. I was really apprehensive when I knew they would do this sermon because I was scared the message would be negative, but I was so happy about the message they sent.
vlagroupie same school different location, but when I toured the school they told me about the prayer. I remember thinking whatever he said about it sounded very rehearsed, so I figured people must have been upset about it in the past. It's also posted on the wall in the hallway. I'll see if I can find it today and see what the words are
