I think that basketball sucks!!!
I also think that it's alright to ask to bring your baby to events that would otherwise not be child friendly. To me baby does not equal a child (within reason)

I agree. She's still pretty much an appendage of me at this point.
Signs like these are stupid. Why would I change my driving simply because you've alerted me you have a child in your vehicle? If I'm safe enough for me and those in my vehicle, I'm safe enough for you.

I always thought these were to alert rescuers in the event of an accident that there is a baby in the vehicle.

I don't understand the point of always having your baby/kid always "dressed up". DD is always in her jammies or busha pants/top or onesies. I'd rather her be comfortable than smothered in a dress/shoes/headbands,etc. The only thing she is going to get dressed up for is pictures.
I agree bullybutt. DS is in pajamas most of the time. No worries about socks coming off. We only put him in real clothes for special outings. What are busha pants?
It looks like they are similar to maxaloones, which are bigger in the butt for cloth diapers and can be rolled up when they are smaller, and then unrolled as they get bigger.
bullybutt what makes them cloth diaper-y? just a bigger butt area for fluffy diapers? they are ADORABLE.
Yes, the pants are cut like a saggy bottom to fit around the CDs, but the material is stretchy so you can even wear them without. The legs are tapered at the bottom so you don't need to roll them (almost like babylegs).
Don't walk up behind me to ask a question. You see I'm at a desk. Come around to the front. Otherwise it's just rude. (This applies to the general public. I always make sure I approach people who are working from the front...why can't everyone else?)

I love dressing up DD. DS practically lived in sleepers at this age, but she's got so much cute stuff I want to be sure we get good use out of it. The teachers at DD have even commented about how many dresses she has. I have no problem with her getting these clothes messy, she may be "dressed up" but she's still a baby. It'll wash.

Infant in arms is a separate category. Obviously still not OK at a bar, or somewhere that they need to be quiet, but if they will be happy for you (or someone) to hold them for the duration of the event, it's all good!

This may have been mentioned, I haven't read all the responses yet. But I believe these were created back in the 80's to alert emergency responders that there was a baby in the car. Remember how we all used to have stickers on our bedroom windows to alert fire fighters?

I hate all awards shows. And I think it's ridiculous that there are so many? Grammys, Oscars, Tony's, People's Choice, MTV movie, MTV music etc etc etc. I mean isn't it enough to have a job where you are famous, make movies or music for a living and have a shit ton of money? You need an awards show to have everyone tell you how amazing you are? I just don't get it.
