I'm supposed to bring pasta salad to a friend's house tomorrow. What are your favorite recipes? Bonus points for a link to the recipe and NOT mayo based.
I don't have a link but my favorite easy pasta salad is noodles, couple cans of chicken, craisins, and Brianna's poppyseed salad dressing. I add the craisins and dressing to taste. Super easy to throw together and always goes quick when I bring it places.
No recipe, but I used to always throw together pasta, veggies (peppers, celery, carrots, etc) and honey mustard dressing to taste. Always have extra dressing before serving since the pasta soaks up the dressing otherwise it can by dry.

I always just make mine up. Usually something like vegtable tri colored pasta, chopped hard bolied eggs, chopped or shredded cheese (any kind) some chopped raw vegetables ( peppers, carrots, celery etc) maybe some meat like chopped ham, pepperoni or maybe boiled shrimp. Some chopped fresh herbs (again whatever's around basil, cilantro, parsley. Then I pour italian dressing or olive oil and vinegar on to taste. Let sit in the fridge a few hours before serving so the pasta absorbs the dressing.
Oil and flavored vinegar is good too! There is an oil shop near us that has a cucumber melon white balsamic and it tastes amazing on pasta with corn and tomatoes.
I just mix a box of pasta, a mix of veggies (I just buy a frozen blend of broccoli, carrots, etc) and italian dressing. Sometimes I add chick peas or black beans and parmesan cheese.
