So I did the float pod this morning. It was an interesting experience. I had the option to turn the light off so I did. It was completely dark and quiet. I had earplugs in to prevent swimmers ear and all I could hear was my breathing. It was very relaxing, but I didn't feel any different afterward. I'd still prefer a massage. I was twitching and fell asleep at one point, then had a big twitch that woke me up and scared the shit outta me. So that was fun. Lol I would try it again cause I heard you should give it a few times before deciding if it was actually helpful.

Forgot to add... I get motion sickness and with it being completely dark in there and the weightlessness from all the salt, it took myself a few min to not feel almost dizzy. I guess cause I felt like I was moving in the pod (even though I wasn't moving much at all... I pretty much stayed in the same spot), and it was messing with me. It was weird.

FFSC - I don't understand all the preggos that love when baby has hiccups. This kiddo gets them almost every evening and it seriously drives me mad. I just find it to be an annoying feeling.

Neither of my kids really got hiccups. But if they did I'd probably be a little annoyed too.

In case anyone was wondering, Firebirds was delicious and pretty kid friendly for nice eats. H and I got a chuckle bc they sat us next to 2 others tables with kids, so the pressure was off if C started crying.

Z got them at least once/ day too and I didn't like it either. Flips, rolls, kicks, I'll take
babylove518 the pod kinda scares me. Claustrophobia and anxiety about being trapped in there would better get the best of me.
You can leave the lid up if you want, but she said it will let some of the heat out. And it wasn't very warm to begin with (just body temp. I would have liked it to be a little warmer). They also have a room that is more of a (big) bath/shower type experience instead of a pod. I thought that was a nice option.

I'm really kinda over the flips and rolls and everything. He's sitting or kicking or kneeling or something on my bladder constantly. I always feel like I have to pee. I hardly felt babe because I had an anterior placenta with him. With 2.0 I feel him all.the.time. It's cute at first, but at this point I'm done.
Speaking of all the movements, shouldn't I be expecting him to be getting head down already? I know he's not yet and I'm worried about him starting to run out of room. Last thing I want to think about right now is needing a C. I'm 34 weeks on Tuesday, for reference.
JoBub I hope the rain holds off somewhat for your party! I'll be coming with both kids sans H, he needs to do a lot of prep for Memorial Day Party tomorrow. Soooo, anyone wanting to hold a baby, let me know ;-)

I hope so too. Just bring a change of clothes for the big. I have a feeling all the kids will be out there in a wet bouncy house any time there is a gap in storms. It could get messy.
This is my husband exactly. We'll be having people over and the day before, he's picking up sticks from the back yard. His family came over for Easter and he vacuumed all the upstairs bedrooms. I was like "Dude, seriously?"
LOL I just... I'm trying to be nice. I don't want to discourage him from trying to help ... but I mean... I made a list. That was not on the list.
