For those of you with male partners, what are you getting them for Father's Day (besides a new baby)? . I figured I should take care of gifts pre-baby's arrival.

Nothing this year since we aren't sure baby will be here yet or not. If she is here probably just a "Happy Father's Day" because life will be crazy lol. I know not what you were looking for!
I got him a "It's a Boy" cigar from me, DD picked out his favorite candy, and our last name is pronounced Egg-You so I got him a New Egg gift card from the New Egg-You. We love puns and we are big geeks LOL
DH and I are both awful at picking out gifts for people in general so we have an arrangement that we don't buy each other gifts. At all, for anything. Not even Christmas/birthdays, so certainly not mothers/Father's Day. It relieves a lot of pressure, and works very well for us. Often we will commemorate an occasion (like our anniversary) with a meal out. This isn't very helpful for coming up with ideas, sorry.
agm04 my dad is a woodturner in retirement. He has a studio in his house and sells his stuff at art shows. So I order him stuff from Woodcraft frequently
I already got DH a shirt that shows Daddy Pig from Peppa Pig and says 'Best Dad Ever.' The kids love Peppa so I thought it would be funny, even though I totally don't expect him to wear it out of the house. I also make him a shutterfly photo book every year with pictures of him and the kids, so I just finished that this week. Lastly I think I'll get him a new bird feeder since our old one broke. We are into giving gifts...
mreve, we have the same arrangement! It works well for us too! Every year we pick something big and say that's our gifts to each other for the year. Like last year we got a new sectional for the living room, this year it's a new solar cover for the pool. Ha

We often do that too, usually around the end of the year because both our birthdays are in December. We haven't done it every year, but I've already been telling DH that for this year I want a bedroom set with a king size bed. We'll see if it happens.

iris1264 I got DH a cordless drill last Father's Day and he lovessss it. He's not very handy so he doesnt use it all the time but certainly looks forward to situations where he can bust it out
I have a feeling Mother's and Father's Day gifts are going to be limited to something homemade + a homemade or meal out of their choice + activity of their choice (with or without kids). We don't buy much for gifts for birthdays or Christmas/Hanukkah, so don't need the pressure of another holiday!
