DH got a wedding album from one of his best friends weddings as a gift. Literally a photo album of their wedding pictures, family and all, with a holder thing so it could be displayed. We don't even have our own wedding pictures out, not going to put yours out. It was so odd and we had no idea what to do with it.
what did you do with it? That's so odd
I'm pretty sure I threw it away 🙄 hopefully it never comes up ha Also definitely wasn't part of a package. Her mom took the photos for her wedding. They were so bad. She's one of those people that thinks they're a photographer because they have a nice camera. Their picture of them cutting the cake (cover photo to album) had them in front of a window cutting it and her moms reflection in the window along with flash. They were so bad. I'll ask DH tonight if I kept it by chance.

I will admit we saved money on a photographer by hiring my cousin who was just starting out. But he IS a professional. That's one place where I'd have payed more if I had to.
I made that mistake with H. We were trying to keep it low cost wise and we just used SIL friend who was just starting to take photos. Seriously guys all of my photos are the same pose and it's eerily similar to the Farmer couple with the pitchfork, just in a church setting. The lighting was yellowish even. If I could go back I'd spend more and get a better one.
That might be why I splurge more on the kid's and photos.

Okay meggypoo1's post reminded me. I'm not a fan of those R.I.P. stickers for people's cars. I mean I understand everyone grieves in different ways, but I don't get it.
Our favors were skittles in a little bag. DH enjoyed the leftovers for months.
I would have spent more on a non family friend photographer. He didn't manage the time well since and we didn't see each other before the wedding, he should have been looking at a clock.

We splurged for a "good" photographer, who turned out to be terrible. DH And I don't have a good photo of the two of us, we have no family pictures and no pictures of the bridal party. The pictures of the groomsmen are super tacky. We were suppose to be taking pictures during cocktail hour and the photographers were no where to be found. A lot of the pictures walking down the aisle have a photographer in the picture because they were standing in each other's way. Switzerland needs to get on board with yelp!
Our favors were the traditional sugar coated almonds. I don't even like them but I didn't feel like coming up with anything creative.

Someone in DD's 3 yo soccer class had a paci in.
My ds is three and still uses a paci 😐
My 4.5yo still addicted to her paci. I'm too scared to take it away 😳
