It's 3:30AM & I'm wide awake. As in, have yet to fall asleep awake. I watched Split, and was sleepy at the start, but got really into it and clearly it was too stimulating.
Hope you're sleeping now! How did cleaning/ moving day go yesterday? Do you need any help today?
It's now 6:30 am and I'm pretty sure I'm up for the day. I stayed home all day yesterday, so today I'm gonna head out to run some errands. Just waiting for stores to open...
GM! My boss is on vacation the rest of the week, partay!! I got my LÍLLÉbaby carrier yesterday. I really like it, it was super comfy. N saw it and wanted up, it was surprisingly comfortable carrying a toddler, but I hope she doesn't want to be carried all the time bc I got it for C lol.

I finally fell asleep around 5:30AM. Woke up around 10:30AM. Everyone is still sleeping, which is annoying since we have so much to do. I also have an OB appt. today that's kinda in the way of my day.
theophania - I haven't seen Unbreakable, but I guess that explains the Bruce Willis cameo. I thought it was just like, hey, I did that dead people movie, remember?

Those who use the ok to wake clock (i think maybe JoBub and mom2boxers?), what age did you start using it? And when did they start understanding the concept of it?

We started a little after 2, which was too soon. He understood "if it's green, I can get up" and he would carry it into our room and be like "mom it's green!" But he did not understand that if it's not green, he should go back to sleep. Like if it wasn't lit up green, he just forgot it was there completely. We kept it in his room and kept talking about it but not really "enforcing" it and he pretty much gets it now at 3.

So K woke up at 4:45 this morning and after nursing was still wide awake. I took a chance and laid him back down in his crib anyway and he actually went back to sleep!

Wahoo! I don't think my kid has ever done that in 3 years. LOL

Had an OB appt. today. They did an us because they didn't think he was head down and felt he might be pretty big. He is head down but way up, so totally not engaged at all. And the bigness is apparently a ton of fluid, but nothing to be worried about. I know things change quickly, but looks like he's not coming this week.
Well everything seems to be ok now, but Z just got to go on an ambulance ride. We played at the park all morning and he seemed to be acting normally. Put him and W in the car, drove 25 minutes where he was talking and I was watching him acting fine. Pulled in our garage and he was starting straight ahead, not responding to his name. Yelled, pulled him out, he had vomited and still wasn't responding and then closed his eyes. He started shaking and wasn't responding at all and losing color. By some miracle, my grandma was with me and H was home for lunch. My grandma grabbed H while I called W's mom to try to ask what to do and she didn't answer, so we quickly decided to call 911. They made the decision to transport shortly after. Diagnosis is febrile seizure. Unlikely to happen again and his temperature likely spiked during the drive.
They sedated him in the ambulance, which I didn't know. H rode in the ambulance with him since I had W. I called his grandma and asked her to get him ASAP, but she didn't hear me say I was at my house, so I met her over at his. When I got to the hospital, he was still trembling and unconscious, so I majorly panicked, plus the original adrenaline had worn down and all of the logistical steps were done, so it really hit me hard. The nurse quickly explained that he was sedated, hence the unresponsiveness. He got a solid nap in while they ran labs and gave him some fluids. Now he's perked up a lot and his color is back and fever is down. Just waiting on his urine test now and then we can go home. I'm starving. We were heading to eat lunch when this all went down.
Heading home now. We're all exhausted now that it's all over. Hopefully we can all get some sleep tonight. Z is making siren noises, so apparently he remembers his special ride this afternoon.

dogmama22 that was us last summer. It's so scary! I'm glad it was just a febrile seizure and not something more serious. Hopefully everything comes back ok. Why did they sedate him in the ambulance?
