I'm on estradiol for my upcoming FET and don't remember these crazy headaches, worse than lupron headaches. Anyone know if it's normal? I know it's a listed side effect, but these are strange. Last night I woke up to a stabbing pain from the top left of my head through my jaw line. Sometimes it'll also pulsate in the middle or the lower back of my head for a few seconds. There is constant ache, but that part isn't bad.

I almost called today. It got so bad that I couldn't bend over to pick up toys without it sending me into a tailspin. It seems to have lessen in intensity right now. I'm hoping it stays that way.
I had the worst headaches when I was prepping for my FET. I tried peppermint and lavender essential oils (aromatherapy) and it really helped. Good luck with your cycle!
Hi dear. I will suggest you consult a good gynecologist as estradiol can be very harmful at times. You can consult with medical persons from Ukraine as they are best in this matter. Estradiol may increase your risk of developing a condition that may lead to uterine cancer. Estradiol should not be used to prevent heart disease, stroke, or dementia, because this medicine may actually increase your risk of developing these conditions. Long-term use may also increase your risk of breast cancer or blood clot. Estradiol can harm an unborn baby or cause birth defects. Do not use estradiol if you are pregnant. You should not take estradiol if you have abnormal vaginal bleeding, liver disease, breast or uterine cancer, hormone-dependent cancer, a recent history of heart attack or stroke, if you are pregnant, if you have ever had a blood clot, or if you are allergic to any medicines or food dyes. Taking hormones can increase your risk of blood clots, stroke, or heart attack, especially if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, high cholesterol or triglycerides, if you smoke, or if you are overweight.
Hello i hope that you are in better health now. The pain sadly stays. It is also completely normal so dont fret. However, it does get better with time. I would suggest hyjama. It will really relax your pain. But aromatherapy is a safer treatment. But please consult your doctor before doing any of this.
Hi there! I am so sorry for what you are going through. It's always better to visit the doctor asap. Sometimes we don't even know what we are dealing with and it can end up bad. So why take the risk? Sometimes things may look small but they are not that small. I am not an expert in IVF because I never opted for it. Just make sure you are following the doctor's instructions. Stay in contact with your doctor. If the doctor is not helpful and this cycle ends up bad then change the clinic. It's important to opt for a clinic with a high success rate. If the clinic is good enough then obviously your chances are also high. Good luck! Stay blessed!
It is actually pretty normal. The same thing happened during my first cycle as well. I actually got worried in the same manner as well. However, the doctor said it is normal. I actually had the same issue when the retrieval happened. Although I found that weird because the doctors were only able to extract 4 eggs. That cycle failed for us. We are now visiting another clinic for our process. Really hoping that things work out with them. I did research a lot before visiting them. Really made sure that the doctors were experienced. This is something that really matters. Hoping for the best now. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust your way.
