Parenthood Thursday 1/15? Spoilers!

Has there been a discussion thread for this yet? Not a whole lot happened. Next week's will probably be pretty emotional with Amber having her baby. I was surprised that Sarah agreed to marry Hank based on her behavior last week. Joel and Julia are finally officially back together. Good, I was tired of that storyline dragging out.

I still feel like something is going to happen to Crosby.  It seemed he was really spiraling towards serious depression.  But then Adam agreed to keep the Luncheonette, so maybe he is okay?  Something is just so off to me.  We also never saw Cristina's reaction to Adam's final decision.

I was really disappointed that Adam agreed to go back in on the luncheonette. I mean, I felt terrible for Crosby, but Adam did not want it. I feel like maybe they could have worked something out....crosby could buy him out, give Amber a bigger role? I don't know, it just really disappointed me.

I'm happy about Joel and Julia, but I thought they should have kept sneaking for awhile. She was right that they need to be 100% before bringing the kids in on it. I know they showed it like they are 100% but what had it been, like a day?

That's why I feel like something is still not settled with this Luncheonette business. Adam really, really wanted out. It sucks that both Adam and Crosby want such different things.

I feel like they can't end the series with something bad. This show just has to have a happy ending, damnit.

I don't want something bad to happen right at the end either. If someone is going to die, it better happen next week. That way they can show everyone recovering in the finale.

That's what I meant . If they really are killing someone off, not that I want them too. I would rather it be sooner than later.

I would be surprised if some thing bad happened with the Adam/Crosby situation. There's only 2 episodes left and I really hope they don't leave things on a bad note. I also hope they don't do a "10 years later" ( or any length of time) look into the future at the end. I usually do not like those.
I am soooo happy that Julia and Joel are back together. There was a part of me that thought the divorce might go through since it is such a part of many American families.
Can't wait for the upcoming episodes!

I liked the Joel and Julia stuff, as well as the storyline with the photos.

I hope the last episode is a happy one. I really want everyone to make it to the final episode alive and well.

I am so hard to please. I hate when shows wrap up a series in a neat package, with every storyline getting a simple resolution. I'd also bitch about being left wondering with a ton of loose ends so I don't know wtf I want from them but I'm not enjoying this season very much. Knowing they're calling it quits due to cost of the ensemble cost, it was obvious they were being cheap in the first half, only using half of the bigger name cast members in an episode. Meh anyway.

-I liked the photos storyline,
-I liked that Zeke left the baseball stuff for those kids to find (but was about to gag from the saccharine when I thought I counted that family with 3 kids and a 4th in the oven)
-I didn't really care that Sarah said yes but the whole Hank storyline would have been a waste otherwise
-I would have rather seen Crosby buck up and take the luncheonette over himself, use the insurance money and a business loan to buy out Adam, get things going again, and reserve a bigger place for Amber there... I get he doesn't really have the finances for that but it's pretend so why not
-I don't think they need to kill Zeke off to make their point about dealing with death on the show, they're all being forced to confront stuff, recognize the time is coming soon, but I don't think the sobfest of actually doing it is necessary... And FFS please don't let him die the second Amber gives birth and have her name the kid after him... I'd rather see a happy ending

I think someone should die. I know its UO, but that's life. I'm also bitter and twisted that it's life so take that with as much salt as you prefer. I'm betting on Zeke but they could pull a fast one and have it be Amber or Crosby.

With only 2 episodes left I am going to need them to kill off no one, thanks! Theres not enough time to process & move on. They had their chance all seasin but now is not the time.

I am seriously upset that this show is ending. Its one of my most favorites.

Just curious...Why do you think it will be Camille? I don't know about Amber dying in childbirth.  Anything can happen, but this isn't the 1800s and as far as we know she is not high risk.  I guess the baby could die and that could be the death? " Shudder"  No, that can't happen.

I thought earlier in the season that it could be Camille to throw everyone for a loop after focusing on zEke. This was around the same time they made it look like Crosby might do something stupid on his bike. It also crossed my mind that maybe it'd be Drew when he was driving around. With all of zeke's close calls I think it'd be so tacky for them to keep doing that and then he dies at the last minute.

You know, that's what I think about the idea of Zeke dying. Why drag it out and have him recover so many times just to have him finally die in the end?

I do love the Joel and Julia are getting back together. They wouldn't kill of one of them would they??

Zeke is the obvious neat package choice but it still makes me sad. I'm going to bawl no matter what they do!

It has to be Zeke who dies, because otherwise it'd leave everyone too shocked. I think they're setting us/family up to all be OK with his decision to not have another surgery. They didn't make the decision yet, did they?

And, I agree that Amber will probably name her baby Zeke.

Im so glad Joel and Julia are back together! I honestly dont see how their whole marriage disintegrated the way it did. I thought they should have been able to fix it sooner but I'm glad good Joel is back!

After reading comments here today I do think it makes sense that Zeke will decide against the surgery and he will die. There's just been so much drawn out with it. I guess that's how they are preparing us and the family.

I agree that he is going to die. It's like Zeek has been on the goodbye tour this season.

I also called the Zeek dies and Amber gives birth storyline earlier in the season. MH thinks it's too cheesy... And I hope he's right.

Yeah, I really wanted them to just take the deal. I think Crosby should have just let go, even though it would have been hard.

It's obviously really hard for Crosby to think about losing his wild and exciting side and becoming Adam basically. He's terrified of it, and the luncheonette is the last thread he's holding onto.
