Hi! I'm in a situation where I'm not sure as to what to do. My right molar tooth was partially decayed and I had a composite filling a few weeks back on the same tooth. But I had extreme pain in my tooth after having the composite filling. So I consulted the dentist and he opted for a root canal treatment. I had a root canal done two days back. Even after the root canal, I experience severe pain and tooth sensitivity. I couldn't sleep because of the pain. I am having only juices and soft foods. I am on antibiotics and pain killers, but they do not seem to be working. My friend suggested undergoing root canal pain treatment at a clinic in Toronto. She also took an appointment with the clinic for tomorrow. Is it normal to have pain after a root canal treatment? Is it necessary to consult a dentist now or should I wait?
