Hey, last day at office we had a discussion about root canal treatment. The discussion came up when I told that my son's teeth are decaying and it is his adult teeth getting decayed. My colleague who is just 3 years elder to my son told that she too had this problem and she has undergone root canal treatment from a clinic in Scarborough. She explained the procedure and said that it may need 2 to 5 consultation for the completion of the procedure and it is a quite expensive procedure. I just talked about this to my son, he told that he is not willing to undergo root canal treatment because, it will destroy his natural teeth. Is that true? When I asked my colleague, she said that root canal treatment can retain natural look and continue eating the foods you love. But will that be needing more care than a normal tooth? Which will be better among root canal treatment and leaving it untreated? Please share your thoughts!
