Does anyone have experience breastfeeding with severely inverted nipples? I haven't been successful with any of my four kids so far but I'm having another in July and want to give it another go. Nipple shields and pumping are super painful due to the strength of the adhesion. I think the only way to make this work is getting the baby directly to the breast. I've been successful a few times but for the most part I have trouble with the latch. Even with pump/nursing/partner's help, the best I've been able to get is flat nipples, which inverts right away. Any suggestions for making this attempt more successful?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
