This disease robbed by mom

Hello everyone!!
My mom Rose Marie is troubled with Alzheimer's disease. She was always a happy woman, joking and making everyone laugh. It was during last December 2017 we were seated in a mall. She gave us a blank stare. She looked around and said that she did not know who all the people were, and I said, “Mom, you know who I am, don’t you?” And she said, "No." That day changed my world as I had known it. This horrible disease robbed me of my mom. I was shocked and difficult to accept. We started the treatments soon. Recently I heard about compound medications from my friend. He suggested me to get a medication consultation from a nearby clinic in Toronto. I'm really scared whether these medications have any side effect or not. What can you say about this?
