Lost Natural Pregnancy after 3 IVF's

In June I miscarried my first ever pregnancy at 7 weeks. My husband and I are in our early 30's and have been trying to have a baby for 4 years. We've been through 5 IUI's and 3 IVF's: no pregnancies. In November of last year we decided to stop fertility treatments for good. I started taking supplements (CoQ10 and Myo-Inisitol) to help my egg quality, which is what I was told was our problem. Then BAM-I get pregnant about 6 months later. Then I proceed to lose it a few weeks later.

I've been struggling so much since the miscarriage. The doctors are positive we'll conceive again, but I'm not as hopeful. I had moved on from the idea of having my own child and now I have to deal with the loss of my only pregnancy and potential baby. It hurts even more because it was my miracle baby.

Hello dear, What happened to you is very sad. I am very sorry. You did the best thing that you chose the multi-cycle IVF. It was always better because if it does not work for the first time than you have a chance to try again. Now you have tried it several times. It's not working for you. The other option that I want to suggest to you is surrogacy. I think you should go for surrogacy now. This method would be your only hope to get a biological child. If it does not work. Only, adoption left. It's also good, but it's dependant upon you.

It's sad to know that you've to go through such hard times. Miscarrying your child is one of the biggest griefs. I can understand why you are disappointed with infertility treatments. Maybe due to so many failed attempts. I must say, you should not lose hope, my love. I also had surrogacy from a well-known clinic in Eastern Europe. They are providing guarantee for their surrogate mother and for success in the treatment too. You can also give them a try!!

mishel65, rosiejames, - Thank you for your kind responses. Unfortunately surrogacy isn't an option for my husband and I. With our IVF's we never got any embryos to transfer. We either have poor egg or sperm quality, but the doctors think it's more than likely poor egg quality. We've done all the tests, everything is perfect and we are in our early 30's. We have been dubbed with the label of "Unexplained Infertility." I was coming to terms with the reality that I might never have my own biological child when I finally got pregnant, and then lost it. So it's been hard to come to terms with both sides of my problem: I might not be able to have my own biological child, and I lost my one and only pregnancy that could have been my own biological child. With all of the grief I've felt over the past year, I can't even fathom considering adoption. I'm just not there yet emotionally. It wouldn't feel fair to a child I would adopt, if I were still feeling grief from losing my biological child.

Hey dear, I am really sorry to know about your miscarriage. Miscarriage is indeed very hard to cope with. But you should always be positive. There is always a beautiful day after the dark night. So giving up is never the solution. If you are not happy with the behavior of your clinic. Then you should change it. A clinic in Europe is doing excellent in this field. I would suggest you visit them. Things will be alright. Take Care.

That's heart wrenching. There are many solutions like IVF and surrogacy. If surrogacy fails for the first time then you must try it again. Remember courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I'll try again tomorrow. So be positive and believe in yourself. My best wishes are always with you

Don't lose hope. Keep trying dear! I know it's not easy...Well, I'm also a TTC. I've got PCOS, can't conceive. So, yeah! I know things. But, still trying my best! Anyway! Believe in doctors. I also had lost hope a year back. But, now on my foot. I'm having IVF at a center in Kiev. So, yes! things happen. But, you've to keep going. Miracles do happen dear.

hello Mellbell, Miscarrying a child is one of the biggest grief. I can feel your pain. I also have gone through the same phase. I can also understand your fear. Sometimes miscarriages also leads to infertility. Dear, there are many other options available. Surrogacy and IVF are the bets ones. IVf is a complicated process while surrogacy is simple. I am an infertile. I chose surrogacy. I herd about a clinic of Ukraine from a forum. The clinic made our life. Because of their treatment now we have a baby. I think you should have to consult them. They will guide you in the right direction. Good luck

Hey dear, I hope you are in your good health. Why are you getting worried? If the doctors are positive about your health than why not you. Just get yourself relaxed. Stay positive. Take things positively. You will conceive naturally one day. Just keep trying. I had also a miscarriage. I lost my unborn child when I was 6 weeks pregnant. A bike hit me. It was the darkest day of my life. I didn't think it like this. I was not able to face the world. But then a ray of hope sprouted. I got to know about a clinic in Europe through the internet. I read some success stories. Also, I watched some of the clinic's videos. I sent them an email and got a quick response. This was my first victory. They called me at their clinic to talk about surrogacy. I would be starting it soon.

Dear, I do understand how it feels when you can't conceive after all your tries. You don't need to be sad. Everything has been decided by the fate. You just need to struggle for it. I am hopeful that you will conceive naturally. I am also suffering from anorexia. I am getting weak day by day. Losing my health along with the hope of a baby is making me depressed. I have no other option left other than surrogacy. I would be leaving for Europe for my surrogacy soon. My sister has recommended her clinic. I have witnessed all the best facilities there. Doctors are much professional and experienced. I am much relaxed now. I hope surrogacy helps me.

Sorry for your loss. It's inspiring how the supplements may have helped you. In addition to working with your doctor, you may consider working with a Registered Dietitian who can fine tune your eating and nutrient balances. Review even the basics like how you may be able to improve lifestyle habits, finding a new provider if needed, or improving supplement quality and type, etc. Hope you find the hope again!

Hi there! I am so sorry for your loss. You are going through a lot. Miscarriage is a big barrier in this journey. I know all of this looks hopeless but trust me it can still work. IF IUI and IVF are not working for you, then move on to surrogacy. Surrogacy is a great option for people who can't carry their own baby. I had both babies through surrogacy so I can assure you that it's successful. But to make it work you need to find a good clinic. A clinic with a high success rate and experienced staff. I had my treatment abroad just because of that clinic's success rate. I had to travel a long way but it was worth it. The packages were not even that expensive and the treatment I got at that low price was just on point. I hope this helps you. Good luck!

I am really sorry to read about your journey. I can understand how difficult this must be for you. However, dont worry just stay strong and positive. I would suggest that you get a second opinion on this issue. I have been through a very similar boat. I have had 5 IUI and 1 IVF cycle done! All of these failed for us. After this, a friend suggested that we switch to a different clinic for the next IVF cycle. We took her advice and I think that was a good decision. It is really important to research about the clinic and their credibility before visiting them. Now the clinic I am visiting I already feel so much better about the process. Really hoping things work for us. We visited them for the first visit. The experience was really amazing. Good luck to you.
