I think my cold is causing an ear infection. If it still feels this way tomorrow I'll have to go to the doctor. Tonight we have conferences for N. And we are going to do some holiday grocery shopping, including the turkey. This morning at Costco, a guy was rude to me because apparently I didn't redirect my full cart with two children in it fast enough for his cart with two things in it. Tis the season...?

Either the amoxicillin messed up J’s tummy or he has the stomach bug. Poor bub keeps throwing up. Per the NP we are holding off on the amoxicillin for now to see how he does.
dreemkin hope it’s not an ear infection! Also why do the holidays - times we are supposed to be extra connected and kind and happy - turn people into assholes? Priorities, people... priorities and anti-anxiety meds 🙊
dreemkin I am sorry you are still miserable. Ear pain is the suck. When I feel ear pain I keep on ibuprofen, Sudafed, Flonase and saline spray and it has helped. I went two years in a row for ear pain and it was just sinus pressure and fluid so if you don't get an ear infection diagnosis that has helped me
lilyelayne poor J that is miserable for all . Feel better little one.
I actually have sinus pressure that is trying to progress to a sinus infection I think blah. Trying to kick it in the teeth without a Dr but today is constant headache, teeth hurting. Tomorrow we should be better!
I decided to go tonight to immediate care as my ear was getting progressively worse as the day went on. Yup, ear infection. So me and J (lilyelayne) are both on amoxicillin. Hope he is better with throwing up. Could be upsetting his tummy.
Thanks aggiebug but I have tried and do try all of those things. Especially when I feel a cold coming on. I'm starting to think I have eustachian tube dysfunction. Something I will be asking about during my next physical. My last ear infection was only 4 months ago; now I'm keeping track on my calendar because this is becoming like a thing. And I've always had them as a kid too. I'm the ear infection queen.
PS I hope you can heal on your own but sinus infections are no joke too. Get well!
I think the abx wrecked J’s gut. Still vomiting, now getting some lower GI symptoms too. Started a probiotic to try to get him back on track. FX he sleeps as well as he did last night.

lilyelayne hope J can overcome the GI problems. I am having H pick me up some yogurt on his way home. And I was wondering about the tubes. Can they be permanent though? I really don't know much about them.
