Fantastic February Friday and weekend

What's happening ladies? Any thing fun this weekend?

S and C are both in moods this morning, should be a fun day 😆.

I am going to the women's conference at my church tonight and most of tomorrow which should be interesting. I am going with someone I don't really know very well. She is in the small group we have recently joined but I know all the other women in the group better. It will be a good way to get to know her, and also anxiety inducing. 😁

Nothing to report here. DH is still sick, so sick he cancelled clinic this afternoon and went to the doctor himself. Flu test was negative thank goodness; just a sinus infection. Hope the meds help quickly. It’s so cold we had sleet and freezing rain, but thankfully that was after I’d picked up G from school.

We have a really fun thing planned - doing taxes ::sarcasm::. We've been hearing that returns have been lower than usual. Anyone experiencing this?

Tonight we had a nice family movie night. We watched a movie we gave A for her birthday that we all haven't seen yet - Hotel Transylvania 3. It was so funny! We love those movies. Also we tried a new approach with A for dinner. We decided that we were giving her too much (negative) attention with the food struggles. So she got one warning at the beginning of the meal that if she doesn't eat there will not be popcorn for her. No more mentioning it. And she picked at her food a bit more than usual! She ate enough to enjoy popcorn during the movie!

No plans this weekend and I'm glad! It's cold and windy.

V is back to himself now and no one else seems worse, so I think our idea of food poisoning was right. According to DH both boys are in a mood, so I'm kinda glad I'm at work. Tonight we are having quesadillas and just going to be a chill night. DH and I need to work on some budget stuff.

G asked what I wanted for my birthday, and I said a whole day without fussing or fighting. So my sweet boy gave me *two* days without a single fuss, fight, or threenager tantrum.
