It has been many years of trying and two failed IUI attempts. So thrilled to finally be at this point but nervous. Like extremely nervous. My doctor believes that I will most definitely develop OHSS. Has anyone suffered from this and has any tips on surviving?
My other big question is genetic testing the embryo. My husband and I are torn both seeing it in a different light. He wants to while I feel like it is unneccessary. I dont feel like they would test for anything more than what we have both been genetically tested for. Maybe I am being nieve but I just dont feel like we have to.

Hey Katent! Hope you are feeling better now. I am so sorry for what you have been through. It's really hard to move on from a failed attempt. I m glad that you are not stopping and going for IVF. IVF is really a great procedure. It depends on the clinic also tbh. Sometimes it's better to leave these things to the doctors. They know better so they can guide you better. Try to convince your husband for it, but even you do it, there's nothing bad in it. Make sure you do your research before opting for any clinic. Good luck. Stay blessed. Bye!

I hope things go well for you. Just make sure that the clinic you opt for this process is experienced in IVF. It is soo important for the doctor to know what he or she is doing. The process is highly successful however a lot depends on the doctors. I myself am in between the process. This is my second cycle. I hope things go well for us. The retrieval will take place tomorrow. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I am not opting for genetic testing. I dont see a point in that. However, its totally up to you if you want to opt for it or not. I just want things to work for us. Good luck to you. Sending baby dust your way.
Life is all about challenges. I'm sorry to read about your failures, dear. I'm glad that you didn't give up. This is the key to your success, honestly. IVF will surely be a success for you. I can feel it. I've been through an IVF procedure. Once the embryo is implanted in you, it all feels natural. It is somewhat like a natural pregnancy. This is the benefit of it that you can experience pregnancy. The procedure sure is painful, but it is worth it! And about the testing, if you don't feel good about it, you shouldn't go for it. You guys are taking such a big step in life, be together in this. I hope everything goes well. Good luck!
Hello. Hope you are doing well. Sorry to hear about your struggles. It's going that you are now moving to the next step. You should talk to your husband about this. IF you don't feel comfortable you dont have to do it. But on the other hand, it won't do you any harm. Make an informed decision. Hope IVF works for you.

I think you should start the IVF. It is an amazing procedure. I know so many people who are opting for it. Just make sure that the clinic you visit known how to carry the process out. This is something that really matters. Research about them. The doctors should also be experienced. Sending baby dust!
Hi, Kate. I hope you're doing better, today. I know, how you must feel. I've had a tough time with all this, too. I didn't exactly trust these methods before I started my journey. I became even surer after I failed the IVF cycle. These things are quite expensive, as well. So, I had decided to lose all the hope and give up. My husband asked me to give it a final shot. We thought about going for IVF, again. It was quite a massive moment because I actually got a BFP. Yeah, it's a little unreliable, but they're very effective if they suit you. So, best of luck, I hope your luck turns around!
Hello, Kate. How are you? I hope you're doing okay. I'm sorry to hear about your situation. You had to go through two failed IUIs. That's not a great story. My prayers are with you. It's good to see you motivated. Don't lose faith, okay? Things will get better for you. I want to wish you the best of luck with your IVF. I hope you have better luck with it. Just remember not to worry too much about it. You can get through it. My prayers are with you.
