kartish thanks for asking! My back is doing much better now. I was resting it a lot and I'm almost back to normal! My swollen lymph node on my neck is still sore though 😣 Now DH is starting to have a man cold so it'll be a fun weekend....NOT.
Today we took A to a (pediatric) ophthalmologist. He said he's never seen or heard of the type of bump on her eye 😲. I also thought I saw another one on her other eye and I was right. He was surprised that they are perlescent and grayish. He said the eyes look healthy otherwise and vision looks good so doesn't want to do biopsies. So we will keep watching it for any changes and he wants to see her in 6 months to check them. I hate when things are a mystery. But grateful for no bad news, per say. He seemed nice and commended our keen observation.
Also, this shouldn't bother me but a total internet stranger was rude to me today and it's piling on. I'm in a bad/sad mood.

I’m glad to hear you didn’t get any bad news. Sorta odd that the dr wouldn’t have seen this before. Were you able to find anything online about it?
Internet strangers are the worst. Don’t think twice about it!
We had a pleasant road trip to the beach! Both kids were good, and we stopped at a restaurant we’d never been before for supper on the way down & it was very good.
Of course then we opened the fridge when we got here & it was 50° and moldy. Yuck. So we get to deal with a repair person tomorrow.
dreemkin if it makes you feel better, not every type of growth on the eye surface is removed. Pinguecula is a yellowish growth on the eye surface that is benign and only gets removed if it grows over the cornea/visual axis. Doesn’t help the mystery of what A has, but plenty of people have pinguecula for decades without any effect other than cosmetic.

Yup! It doesnt fit into any of those growth categories according to the opthalmoligist but that's essentially why we'll just watch it. Hopefully it never grows enough to affect anything and it's just something she has.

Wait and see is so difficult! Hugs! Glad it’s nothing immediately scary though.

Glad you had a good trip down but yuck on the fridge. Do you own this beach place?

lilyelayne (and everyone) thanks for the kind words! Also nice that your parents co-own it but sucks that you have to deal with the repair and clean up. My parents have a similar situation on a lake house in WI so I understand how that luck falls sometimes. Hope it's a quick fix and you are still enjoying your weekend!
aggiebug been thinking about you and your family. Hope things are going okay, all things considered.
Thanks all we are with the in laws now, services are tomorrow. Everyone is in relatively good spirits, he lived a good life, we have faith we will see him again in heaven, and have enjoyed being surrounded by everyone's lovely memories of him. Tomorrow will obviously be a lot of emotions and tears, but it will be to good too
I've got a sore throat. May be taking a sick day tomorrow, we'll see.
DH had dinner made when I got home, pork roast with potatoes and veggies. It hit the spot.
It's windy and cold today, V wanted to go out and draw worth his sidewalk chalk but he only lasted a couple of minutes. He has summer fever as well lilyelayne. But I'm still enjoying winter!
