Do you have any plans for Mothers Day? I still don't know what I want - going out to eat or my H smoking/grilling something. I feel like I'd still have to do the rest of the meal prep and stuff in that case...idk.
Today is laundry and whatever else I can get done.
Hola. I'm chronically tired these days. Not sure why, but I am. It was field so at school except it was rainy so it was all in side and it's a bunch of preschoolers so it was kind of hilarious. I helped out with C in tow, I chose the chalk and bubble station thinking that would be easiest and I chose well he was able to just play along with all the kids. I am now tired and kiddos aren't. Of course.
Mother's day is me not planning day so I have no plans 😬. H asked if I want to go to the baseball game that day which we have done in the past I can't remember the final decision we have a lot of baseball coming up so we may have decided not to do that this year. We do have a church thing that evening which will be interesting but otherwise that's it.
Per the usual, Mother’s Day planning is a mess of trying to coordinate with my mother & MIL and the grandmothers. I’m sure it’ll end up a two day affair so no one gets missed. SIL wants us to go to brunch Sunday & that won’t work for my mom.
Last year Mom & I went to the beach. That was much better.
Today I went to the mall play area. A got to all her energy out. Then at lunch a kid sitting behind is was coughing so bad. It grossed me out. I mean I'm okay with a little cough like allergies or something. This was a barking, very sick cough. So I'm sure we'll be getting that sometime soon. Why bring a kid out that is sick? Come on immune system!
Brought my dog to the vet for her annual appointment. Every year I say I’m gonna get a new vet because of how slow slow slow this one is, and every year I end up back again.
On the road, been a long trip so far. But we're coming up on Kansas city, and it'll only be a couple of hours more. A is pretty done though of being in the car.
No plans for mothers day. I'll be with my dad and I have no expectations for the day. If I was at home, it'd most likely be juggling the day with our moms.

Wednesday night we got a tornado warning, and as soon as I read the words from my phone, G said “get J!” and trotted off for the closet, calling for the dog to follow him. Thankfully rotation was south of town.
Yesterday we took advantage of a break in the rain to go to the park. G made friends with another kid about his age. I heard them discussing tornado procedure as they climbed up to the slide (the other kid gets in his bathtub; G explained his bathtub is upstairs & therefore not safe tornado shelter.)
Thankful that they are so calm & matter of fact about it, but still open & discussing & processing.
