I'm not feeling very energetic this Friday. I'm just kinda snuggling with A in between house chores.
N has a field trip to the zoo today. I get nervous when she's away from School. Although with the most recent school shooting, I'm worried about her safety there too... 😕
Not much planned this weekend here, just a laid back weekend which I appreciate. With H in control of planning food. Yay brain break it course I seem to have a cold? Or just a wicked cough thanks to allergies but I feel kinda meh. Could be worse though!
So H was out doing errands and I asked if he could get a sesame bagel (a total treat for this low-carb girl) for tomorrow's breakfast. And apparently nowhere on earth has bloody sesame bagels (fresh or prepackaged) anymore.... seriously he went to like 3 places that used to have them. WTF the one thing I wanted 😭 Everything bagel it is, I guess 🙄
No food planning for this momma this weekend either! And I'm hoping to avoid cleaning but that probably won't happen. We are celebrating with just us 4 today by going to a Home Run Inn buffet. Mmm! We were then going to head to the zoo but its gloomy and a bit chilly. So TBD on that one.

Happy Mother’s Day, friends! I hope you all have wonderful days, and I’m thankful for your friendship!
Yesterday was a low key rainy day at home, then SIL & the nephews came over to babysit while DH & I went to a crawfish boil / fundraiser for G’s school. They asked me to be head of the PTA next year, so I get to consider that.
Today we went to church & now on our way to my grandmother’s for lunch. This afternoon my nephews have a race that we’ll go watch. So it’s the same as last Sunday 😂
But, G was super excited to give me the Mother’s Day gift he made at school. It’s a tile coaster he painted. So sweet.
So my dad got some balloons and a small gift for the boys to give me this morning. It was really sweet. We had a BBQ today, which was very nice. I thought it'd be awkward with people I didn't know but it was all very easy.
But then A decided to shove some Styrofoam beads from my brother's bean bag into his ear. Five beads. I was able to get all but one out. So off we went to instacare. But they could not get it out either. So I had DH get the ball rolling back at home with the pediatrician for a referral for ENT. Never a dull moment.
