aggiebug how did the drive go? kartish so glad camping went well!
Today, my couch to 5k was much better due to the fact that I got a high impact, compression sports bra! Life changer! Accept now that I didn't have to "concentrate" on the painful boob drops, I was feeling my leg fatigue more haha. Can't win.
Oh man and my sis just said she went to the emergency room with my nephew. He was shaking a lot and not himself. He's been previously evaluated for seizures since he would often have these episodes of shivers/blankness but it was determined that his tremors weren't that. Poor little guy!

I kept telling myself to make an appointment and get a new inhaler before winter illnesses, but I didn’t, and despite the fact it’s still 95° here my asthma decided to act up. Ughhhh. I’ve got an appointment first thing tomorrow, at least.

I'm out tonight with DH, my mom took the boys overnight. Its going to be a busy week at work, and DH is going hunting this weekend. So it's nice for a night out.
dreemkin hope they can figure whats causing your nephew's tremors.
lilyelayne scary! Hope you don't have any more issues begore yoy get the inhaler.
Update on my nephew and vent about my sister. It was determined at the ER that he had backed up bowels which is common with him (due to his low muscle tone). They say the tremors are from that and they proceeded to do the clean out. But today she said he spiked a high fever. And she is so incredible overly weird with him. My parents offered to go there (and stay a few days because it's a 3 hr drive) to help, watch him if she needes to get things done, work, etc. She was rude to my mom and told her that my dad puts the t.v. on too loud when they are there. Also, she is arguing that the doc told her to give him a warm bath. I'm sorry but that is wrong. You need cool washcloths, ice pack on your head to bring that fever down and cool off the brain! When I said that she said she doesn't want him to be shivering. Well no one likes to see that but a febrile seizure would be a lot scarier and more dangerous than fever shivers. Sigh. She is an extreme helicopter parent and I can understand that since he has some special needs it can be rough and you have to be more attentive at times. But she is unreasonable and it irks me. Rant over.
dreemkin oh how scary for your nephew I missed that originally. Hope they can get his fever and tremors under control. I know they emphasize you shouldn't give a cold bath now because it can actually cause your body to elevate your temp after but right at body temp is ideal to cool off a fever.
Yesterday Nor and I had our 6 month cleanings at the dentist and then since it was around dinner and I didn't have time to cook, we went to Mod pizza. N's school has "no cook nights" once a month where they pick an establishment that gives a portion of the proceeds to the school. You get to see classmates and sometimes the staff get involved (like cooking) so it's fun for the students. That was it this month. It was okay; I like Blaze better in that category. To be fair though, I had mostly salad to stick with my diet. I was also in a bad mood but there was a family there that is so annoying. They let their son do whatever he wants. He was running around the restaurant, being loud, and using water cups to get soda...
So it turns out that nephew also has 2 ear infections (hence the fever). So just a nasty culmination of things. Poor kid!
Today I finished week 2 of the C25K program. It is already getting difficilt for me (anti runner here). I will stick with it even if I have to lower my pace. And I can always do it again with a goal of a faster pace.
TGIF! We signed up N for a new dance class this season - Irish Dance. Tonight will be her 3rd class. So I'm just probably going to watch some YouTube tonight while H and A take her!!
The boys had a auntie sleepover Friday night, with her other nephew, a first for the three of them. I wasn't planning on A sleeping over but he was so excited and assumed he was in on the fun, that I relented. He did fine though, as well as the others. Then the next mourning we all went out for breakfast and then out to the dino park. It was a busy day.
dreemkin with the ear infection diagnosis, is your nephew doing better?
kartish thanks for asking! Yes he is, she says. I guess he's still having the blow outs though from the clean out. Eek.
Well we planned on a parade and fest Sat and apple picking today. Both got cancelled due to weather/flooding. Since we rushed to get ready for the parade, we decided to go out to breakfast which I can't remember the last time we did all together. Last night we rented descendants 2 and made it a movie night. It was good; the girls liked it.
Today we are going to chill and watch football. Go bears; 3 o'clock game!! I'm going to make sandwiches that are supposed to be a chik-fil-a dupe. I don't eat there but H says they are good. You marinate them in pickle juice. It's a great way to use pickle juice instead of throwing it away. I'm all for less waste! I don't know why it took me so long but I finally got a few reusable sandwich bags for N's lunches. In cute Disney patterns too!! And I love these silicone straws that I've been using (even bought them to disney).
That reminds me, how are all the disney plans going? kartish aren't you going too? Disneyland?
