How to Keep My Home Safe While I'm Away

When it COMES to protecting our FAMILY and belongings, I can’t be just carefree! I've never invested a single dollar in any expensive home alarm system or installed wire fence to keep out burglars from my home. Recently, I saw an infographic portraying the importance of safeguarding our place with an upgraded video verification home alarm system. Now, I'm planning a vacation trip to Europe after November 20th. When I go on a pleasure trip, I don't want to receive a phone call telling that my home was robbed. It would be worse if I find damage and loss while coming back from vacation. One important thing I can do to keep the home safe is to make it look like there're people living in the house. I tried calling my friends to stay at my house while I'm on vacation. But, they refrained from coming due to hectic schedules. They could keep my plants watered, feed the cat - Drowney, and keep the place neat and clean. I believe that with a proper home security system, I can easily protect the properties from theft and damage. Please help me find the right choice.
