Been a crazy week here, three birthdays between family and close friends, and doctor appointments and dentist appointments for DH. DH is having surgery next week to remove an abscess on his backside, and just chipped a tooth.
Today our childcare provider told us that they won't be offering part time care as if January 1st, so now we have a month to find new childcare.
So crazy times here. Hope everyone else is doing well!
Good morning we head to the in laws for Thanksgiving tomorrow so it's pack day. Had a weird little GI bug going through the house. I say little because it could be a lot worse, but I am hoping it is most resolved today so we don't have to make frequent urgent stops on the drive.
I might go get roadtrip snacks but that sounds precarious Thanksgiving week 😆
aggiebug praying for safe & healthy travels! I would hit up the dollar general for road trip snacks, since it’s thanksgiving week & the grocery may be crazy.
N woke up with swollen lips and eyes. Not really sure what's going on. She hasn't been 100% in a while now poor thing. If not her arm, a cough, and now whatever this is. Ice, benedryl, and ibuphrophen it is to see if it goes away in a day. So I postponed shopping this morning to tonight so I don't have to drag her out. You guys are scaring me about the stores being unbearable. I want as fresh as possible pumpkin pie though!
This morning was disney dinning day!!! Me and H woke up at 4:40am to get it done! We got everything we wanted!! Some repeats and some new ones which I'm excited to try.

It wasn't terrible actually. Probably helps my main store is under major construction so it is probably being avoided 😄.

Aw poor N dreemkin. Hope she’s doing better. And IMO as long as you plan on slower than normal check out, grocery stores at thanksgiving aren’t too bad.
Norah seems better today! I am keeping up with benedryl though since she still has a little swollenness. We had her sleep with us last night to keep an eye on her. I always worry of breathing/tongue issues with allergic reactions. Then A noticed and felt left out so half the night we had four in the bed. Then H couldn't take it anymore and booted them back to their rooms. I didn't sleep well because my ear started bothering me yesterday and was painful to lie on. I was able to see my doc this morning and yup, another ear infection. So I am in pain but still able to do food prep for tomorrow. Leaving the rest of the cleaning up to H. My doc finally referred me to an ENT since I get so many of these ear infections. After the holidays I am going to do that and try to figure this out.
Also I asked H to do the grocery shopping on his way home last night and he said it wasn't too bad out there!
aggiebug hope you make it through your drive without interruption.
kartish good luck to your H on his surgery next week! I hope you can find a solution for day care. You actually make your pies from pumpkins right (if I'm remembering correctly)? Yum!

Yep, I do make then from pumpkins, usually. I burnt them yesterday when I was cooking them, though, so DH is out looking to see if there are any left at the stores.
