I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!

It's 12:45 and I was just starting to read the Thursday randoms. Yeah, I've been MIA lately. Just feeling crazy overwhelmed and S won't let me put him down. I got him to nap once in his bouncer today, I held him the rest of the day. My back is a mess. It didn't hurt even close to this much when I was pregnant. But he's finally gained weight and at 5 weeks he got over his birth weight. Yeah, that was scary. Tomorrow he needs to sleep in his bouncer more so I can actually get some stuff done because baby wearing ain't happening when my back's this bad. Did I complain too much? Sorry! I'll post a squish photo later to make up for it.

4littlebears I held M all day as well. The few times I tried setting him down he would start crying almost instantly. Hoping this isn't becoming a pattern like it seems to be.

Tonight during some tummy time my little lady rolled over!! We were having dinner at a friends and she got a little fussy then bam!, just rolls over. We all just started at her and laughed. It was the cutest!! Since she will only be 1 month tomorrow, it was super unexpected.

My heels feel and look like there is a thin layer of concrete on them. Gross. I can't wait until Saturday when DH will be home to watch LO so I can go get a pedicure. I already know the nail tech will judge me for how bad my feet are... I give no fucks. Just sand 'em down!
Oh no. 4 week roll over babies?! Not ready for that haha. We'll be 4 weeks sat.
Well by the time I got my hair done tonight i had missed two of my little lady's feedings and she was ready for one when I stepped through the door. Did I think to pump after? Course not! So now while DH is changing her I'm realizing I'm so engorged this latching is gonna be a disaster screaming baby while I try and pump some out? Most likely. Sigh.
BTW I DID cut a lot of hair off in the end! I'll post a pic later.
DS2 just slept from 1:25-4!!! This hasn't happened since over a week ago. In fact, unless he was being held, he wouldn't sleep for more than about 20 minutes. I'm going to need to celebrate this.
My mom leaves town today. I'm going to ugly cry. I almost start just thinking about it. I wish she lived closer so I could see her more often.
Got to bed early! It's dd's awake time til midnight and I had dh take her so I could sleep. Super tired for the 1 am feeding since I actually slept before it but I hope I can get out of bed before 11! At least to get out and make coffee then go back for snuggles
We leave for Florida in a week! I seriously can't wait! The temperature right now is three with a high of 10. The temperature where we are going is going to be 80 today!
I'm mad at my husband. I even told him to leave me alone during the middle of the night feedings (ebf but he does diaper changes)
He is going to happy hour with his coworkers today. Last night our toddler was being super naughty and baby was needy. We finally got them in bed and I said,"remember this tomorrow when I'm home with the kids and you're drinking margaritas with adults enjoying yourself." Then he gets an attitude with me and says,"fine. I just won't go blah blah blah."
Wtf? It was a joke and when did I say he can't go? Asshole. I have enough attitude to deal with from the toddler I don't need it from him as well.
I guess today was a day for baby holding. My LO wouldn't let us put him down. He finally knocked out at 2ish and I'm wondering if I should wake him at 3 for his feeding? When did you guys let your LO sleep longer through feedings? He's taking formula.

ETA that he's 4 weeks.
I'd let him sleep at least 2 hours myself. But if he's gaining weight nicely then you could let him sleep longer.

I just got S to sleep an extra hour by turning on the vibrate on his bouncer. He's sleeping in there because he spits up so much. It's kind of nice actually. I'm debating buying a RnP, but I had bought and then sold one with dd2 so it feels silly to buy another one when the bouncer seems enough. Decisions Decisions... Another thing. I just don't get why dh is SO tired every day. I actually don't wake him up when S wakes up to nurse so that he'll wake up our older two for school without me. I don't get why he's so dysfunctional. I went to use the bathroom before feeding S for this feeding, and S started crying while I was in there. DH didn't even wake up! I was like WTH!?

DH took DS1 to my mom's house today, so maybe I can actually do some of this "sleep when the baby sleeps" thing today.
I am getting really sick (congestion and sore throat) and not too happy about it, but trying to make the best of my time before I return to work on Wednesday.

Yes. He was past his birth weight a week after birth. And his feedings are spaced out 3 hrs apart. Hoping this goes well. Thanks!

LO slept from 9-11:30 then 1-5! I'm in bed still doing side lying. I'm hoping he goes back to sleep after this feeding so I can get a couple more hours of sleep.

This is how my husband is. He will sleep through our kid hollering. Yet he says that he's sooo exhausted. Not to mention he snores so loud sometimes and wakes up LO and I have to deal with the disaster of a grumpy baby.

My husband was the same way. I kicked him out of the room so I wouldn't have to deal with his pissiness when he wouldn't get a full night's sleep. Plus now I feel totally justified when I wake him up to give me a couple hour break in the middle of the night.
I'm with everyone else on holding LO all day yesterday for the most part. Also DS is a month old today. Where has time gone. And we put him in an outfit he wears all the time last night and he was too big. When did he decide to grow up so fast?! (Really he's just growing into 0-3 months instead of newborn lol)
I need to get a bigger humidifier! My LO sounds like a little pig and it's sad any recommendations on if cold or warm water ones work better??
My dr recommended a cold one. I don't know why tho, didn't even know there was an option. My dh bought it at bru, its pretty expensive imo but works really well. I like that it has a slot to insert vicks vapor rub pads. And I have to admit to using it more regularly these days since it helps my nose issues too.

hstrawberry My 5 weeks old DS has been rolling over for a couple weeks; he is so strong! We call what he does when he is laying by himself baby yoga My husband thought we could buy DS an jumparoo or seated toy just because "he wants to sit up" lol He can hold his head up, but no husband, no!
I want to go shopping and get coffee, but it is 5 degrees outside and I would feel like a bad mom for taking baby out in this cold unnecessarily...
My mom babysat for us last night and I had my first night of drinking again at a concert haha. It was nice to do a little partying. And my considerate little baby girl decided this would be the first night she slept a whole 6 hours straight! Today she's one month old, gonna have to get some good pictures later.
Last night DH opened up to me a little more about growing up with his physically abusive step-father and how it still effects him emotionally. I don't understand how people can be so cruel. I wish the guy would rot in jail. But I'm so glad to see what a great father DH is becoming.

My husband sleeps through everything, which worries me for when I go back to work and have to work nights. I've always been a light sleeper so I just don't get it. Hopefully he'll be better when he knows he's on baby duty. My husband is also tired all the time... how?!?! He hasn't missed but one full night of sleep and he naps everyday. Yesterday I came in the door with Hazel from my BFing group and disturbed him from his nap. He got so pissy! Um, excuse me, sir, but I haven't had more than 6 broken up hours of sleep in months, and I don't get naps, so yours means nothing to me.
My lo has also been clingy the last few weeks. And this past week he hasn't been napping well during the day. Which makes it hard to get stuff done. Yesterday when he started to cry after I put him in his bouncy seat, I wagged my finger at him and said "at daycare people won't be holding you all day little man". He gave me his sad, downturned mouth face and I caved. Hugging and kissing him all day.
