So I may be having a baby this weekend. If my BP hasn't dropped for my NST tomorrow morning they will be inducing me. Of course I took to doctor Google and now am concerned about my BP. We will see what happens. If I am not having a baby then hopefully I can get the doctor to sign off on me returning to work so that I will be working on Sunday.
Ahhhh Amberreva! Remind me when your EDD is? No matter what happens with your BP, I hope that you have a happy, healthy, well-supported birth experience. I can't wait for an update and to "meet" your little bundle when she arrives. I will be thinking of you!
So, as for me this weekend... our plans are currently up in the air b/c of a possible snow/sleet storm tomorrow. Originally we had planned to meet my MIL at the Home & Garden show tomorrow morning, then head to lunch, and then go back to my in-laws' house so that Will could spend some time with his Pops. We planned to have dinner there and then head home. Well.. now they are predicting 3-6 inches of snow and sleet and freezing rain on top of it for tomorrow afternoon into the evening, so I don't know. My in-laws live about an hour away, so unless we plan to get stuck there and spend the night (which we might consider), I don't know that we will be going... J is supposed to talk to her mom later and then decide.
Sunday the current plan is Target, grocery store, home to hang out and have some family floor playtime and a nap with my boy! My favorite!
I also plan to drink A LOT of coffee this weekend. I am a huge coffee lover, and I plan to give it up cold turkey on Monday in preparation for TTC. So I will be enjoying my share (and probably everyone else's as well) of java this weekend!
kh826 I am due March 2nd so getting close we will see what they decide to do on Saturday. At my surprise NST on Wednesday the OB told us to go home but bring our hospital bags with us on Saturday and also that "our days are numbered." She then made a point of telling us that Sherri would be on this weekend and that she would be in L&D on Monday.

amberreva - I hope all goes smoothly this weekend if it's decided that baby will make her arrival!
I'm getting together with my best friend for pizza tonight. House cleaning and grocery shopping tomorrow, but I think we're going to have a movie day on Sunday. I bought The Hundred Foot Journey, and I can't wait to see it!
Tomorrow is R's first birthday party. What started out as a small get together has turned into a $500 affair! I told my wife that next year it's pizza and a store bought cake for him! He only has one first time birthday experience so we are living it up.
Sunday we are heading to my niece's birthday party. Her and R were bornon the same day so they are birthday buddies.
amberreva, Good luck on Sat. I remember having to bring packed bags for our tests. It's nerve racking not knowing if you are having the baby that day or when it will happen.
amberreva, no big deal - might be HAVING A BABY!! So exciting!! I'll be thinking about you! Hoping the birth goes how you'd like it to resulting in a happy, healthy baby for you to love on
Picking out some stuff for the reno tomorrow, then maybe heading to Niagara Falls to hang with K's fam. It's about an hour and a half away so we'd be crashing there and then staying for K's cousins little guys' first birthday Sunday afternoon. Gives us a good opportunity to hang out with our niecey girl
We're in the same boat as kh826 though. Calling for heavy snow, so we'll see what the weather is like before we commit to the drive tomorrow vs going Sunday morning.
amberreva, wishing you all the best tomorrow!!! kh826,giving up coffee! TTC is getting real again! Good luck with no java Monday! karlamo, Happy birthday R!!!!
Nothing exciting for us this weekend, the usual errands/costco on Saturday and I think we're buying a new grill! Ours finally gave up last week, so its time! Yippie! lol We grill about 5x a week, so its necessity in our house!

What I wouldn't give to grill... it's -31C/-24F here right now. My grill is under two feet of snow... lol
RM80, I was just in Costco yesterday and they have out all their summer stuff. I was drooling over the thought of hanging out in my backyard. I do realize being in a warm climate your "summer stuff" is out all year long.
We went to Lowe's last weekend to look at all the summer stuff and pretend! I tried out a hammock and everything HAHA. When we left it was snowing and blowing all of the place, and I was so said. I can't wait for Spring!!!

Wow amberreva that's exciting news. But also scary due to Bp. We had nst yesterday in case as well but turned out fine so still waiting... Hopefully he will come on his own this weekend . Otherwise we may be inducing 3/2. I can't believe we may have a march baby! My sister is in town for another week only so she may miss it! Crazy how things can change. Good luck!!
2mrsks (mrs&mrsk), I just saw your due date was 2/17. R was 2/18 and he was born on 2/25. My wife was walking around for weeks at 5cm dialated before she went into labor.
Hope your baby comes soon. The wait gets old real fast.

amberreva Sending you best wishes for a safe, happy and healthy delivery for all!
I have no plans this weekend. DS is away, C is working and I will be at home, trying to avoid any crappy weather and all the snow, reading a book, catching up on Netflix and trying not obsess over the TWW.
2mrsks (mrs&mrsk) hoping that you will go into natural labor soon 3/2 is my due date. I am also hoping my BP has gone down and that I may get to wait a little longer then this weekend before this little girl arrives.

I'm only 1 cm still , 3rd check no changes hoping he will come this weekend!
It's my mother-in-law's 60th birthday on Sunday, so she is coming down for the weekend. We pick her up from the airport in a couple of hours actually, and then having a surprise party for her tomorrow. It should be good, my partner hasn't seen either of her uncles for quite a while, and they are both coming tomorrow. She has such a close-knit extended family, its cute.
Much like kh826 we are gearing up for another cold weekend. We are still planning on taking the kids to gym class tomorrow morning, hope it's not a mistake. We were going to get together with another couple we met from this board, but because of possible snow we are rescheduling.
amberreva good luck to you, so exciting!! karlamo 1st birthday, glad you are living it up!
I actually have today off!!!! So rare I get a day off lately. Did our taxes and we actually got a real refund this year! I'm so excited. We are going to pay off M's student loan!!! We both did a ridiculous happy dance in the kitchen with Olivia.
Rest of the weekend, having mom over for her bday dinner and working Sunday.

The day we pay off our student loans I'll be dancing naked in the kitchen! That will happen in 5 years.....
****loss and living child discussed***** We're queer. I'm 34, have severe stage 4 endo, and both fallopian tubes are gone. My love ("Manada" 33) was diagnosed with diminished ovarian reserve. We did Partner IVF (my eggs, her uterus). We lost our twins Tav.in and Ca.sey at 21 weeks gestation.
Today is the anniversary of my first date with manada so we're going out for dinner and then to see the musical "Once" on stage.
Tomorrow M has a haircut and a potluck, so I'll lie low at home. I have a friend's paper to read/edit and a reference letter for a former student to write.
Sunday we might go to a pottery studio where you can pick out a piece of pottery, paint it, and then get it fired. And then in the evening we're going to watch a wrestling show (like WWF style wrestling). This is a total first for us, but our good friend trains at the gym where it is taking place and she's a big fan so we're going to support her (she's not wrestling but friends of hers are).

I'm very excited for amberreva and 2mrsks (mrs&mrsk)! I hope your baby comes this weekend, 2mrsks (mrs&mrsk)! And amberreva, I know it is nervewracking to have anything go "wrong" but I know you're in great hands at your hospital and you're totally far enough along to not have a birth this weekend compromise your baby's health. I wish you the very very best!

Yay Friday! This weekend we are supposed to get some snow (we have been super lucky compared to the east coast...) so we are all prepared to hibernate. I have a book to read, we went to the grocery store, and neither of us plan to go anywhere all weekend. It'll be rough on my step counts (Fitbit!), but I think a weekend of nothing would be good for me right about now.
Yay amberreva! I hope that baby arrives safe and sound, in the best way possible for everybody.
Im going to be off... I only have 1 weekend off a month. IDK what we will do... a friend is doing to the Polar plunge, a little friend of J's has a bday party (that I didnt tell him about) hes been sick so I wanted to hedge my bets on partiness. We went out to dinner together tonight, just me and my guy, and his dragon "Alpha"... We may do nothing but hole up and make some runs to the barn to play with the horses. I have my first colonoscopy scheduled so Monday Ill begin drinking the prep. Yay firsts! I got my taxes done tonight, and Ill be getting a decent refund to plunk down on the school debt. Whatever it is, I assure you I will not be up all night. On my nights off we are asleep by 8or 830- never fails, I think, Ill get him to sleep and then get up to watch some violence on tv and scrub the bathroom- and suddenly its morning!
How exciting amberreva and 2mrsks (mrs&mrsk)!! I'm so happy for you both and looking forward to the birth announcements.
DW and I and the kids are in San Diego this weekend at my dad's house. We had hoped for beach weather but it's cold and grey. Cold for here is 60, so not as bad as many folks in the colder climates have it. Oh well!
No baby today for me. My BP was still high so I am doing a 24hr urine catch and another NST on Wednesday. We were ready to go so although an induction isn't my ideal outcome we were still excited to maybe have a baby this weekend.
