Im probably going to bring a few outfits and decide there! I'm excited to see what clothes we will get for baby girl at my shower. I am for sure going to bring one gender neutral outfit just incase ultrasound was wrong!
Right now, we have 4 contenders, depending on the weather (Michigan) & her size. My son was 5lbs 9oz & only fit in a handful of newborn clothing items the first few weeks. I plan on narrowing down choices closer to when we have an idea of her size (monthly growth scans).
Poppy I'm also obsessed with the whale shit!! I registered for three separate whale blankets and I have a registry at Target even though I could technically get everything from BRU because Target has the most precious whale mobile.
Don't have a coming home outfit picked out for Starter Pack yet, but it'll probably be something whaley. I have the same fox outfit except in sharks, but it's a 3 mo. so I'll probably take the sharks and something newborn.

I'm obsessed with those. Where did you get that first one? That's something that I'm envisioning to bring my little one home in.
Any team greeners; Are you going with gender neutral outfit Or bringing 2 outfits to do gender specific?
I was curious what people were going to do too. I think if it were me (which it isn't) I'd bring two outfits. BUT I can see lots of people just doing something that would work for a boy or girl.
I'm bringing two outfits. Whichever one I don't use I'll just gift to someone later.

This just happened. Hopefully May will be the normal 85+ degrees and not freakishly cold. I couldn't resist the rompers.
Ah I can't resist the rompers either! Macy's has a ton on sale for $5.99 right now and it's taking every part of my being to not buy each and every one of them.
Word of caution...hoods suck for newborns. they get lost in them, and they have this reflex that when something brushes up against their cheek, they look around for some boob to suck on. Maybe you already know this and it doesn't bother you, just thought I would throw it out their in case you didn't already know.
beezybaby I didn't even think of that. These were similar to what my boys wore home from the hospital but now that you mention it, their jackets didn't have hoods....hopefully it won't bug her too much.
I haven't bought it yet but I'm going to buy 2 gowns since I'm team green. My boys wore a white feltman brothers gown with blue trains embroidered on the top. I have it put away in a vacuum sealed bag to keep it from turning yellow. I can't decide if I want to get it out or buy a new boy outfit.
I prob will just do a day gown and not the take me home gown like my boys had. They are a lot like the outfits my brother and I came home in. I sure wish my mom would have kept them.
Here are examples of the girl and boy day gowns, but I'm not buying them until about a month out.

We had 2 outfits last time. This time we are having a home birth, so no coming home outfit, but I'd do the same again. I had taken the tags off and washed both outfits, but I just gave the girl one to a friend who was having a girl.
Oh yeah and I can't forget. This baby is wearing the handkerchief turned into a bonnet that I wore home from the hospital almost 41 years ago. I also carried it in my wedding.
