You did everything you could to make the very best home for this little embryo and I'm so sorry it didn't work this time. I hope that a future FET will be successful. I'm so sorry. It sucks.

So now I know why WTF is called WTF.
Basically everything looked perfect- Lining was great, embryo was highly graded upon thaw by the embryologist, and the transfer itself was smooth. So WTF didn't it work? Well, my RE basically said it was likely that only 50% of my embryos would be normal, so maybe we transferred one of the bad ones. Grrr. The success rates for someone like me is around 50%. Some win and some lose.
What is next? We will do a break cycle wherein I will have an endometrial biopsy (my insistence), and they will look for endometreitis. Then I will go into another standard programmed FET. It will hopefully be carefully orchestrated around a May vacation-- Should be fun traveling with my meds. I can't believe it will be almost summer before I get another chance at this.
I feel like most of my wtf appts have gone the same way and it's so frustrating. I think the endo scratch is a great idea. Hoping and praying your next FET is the one! Hugs and hang in there!
amandaleigh, I"m so sorry. Failed cycles are always such a slap in the face. Sounds like you are doing everything possible. Good luck at your WTF today. Sending hugs.
Edited: I'm sorry....I'm a day late a dollar short! WTF was yesterday. Sorry you didn't get answers.... All of my failed cycles we transferred 8 cell "perfect" embies and didn't get our take home baby till ICSI was done. Have they done ICSI?
amandaleigh, my Dr said the same exact thing to me when my FET failed in November and it made me feel 0% better
I think the scratch is a good idea - it was next on my list of to-do's if I had another failure as well. Thoughts and prayers that you've got a sticky bean next time.
