Try not to be too jealous - im power pumping to try and get my body to start responding better to the pump, while lesson planning for my first full week back to work. Oh, and it's going to be as cold as -35 tomorrow and another 5-6 inches of snow. Which I don't know where this is going to go, the snow piles along my driveway are taller than me.
Escrow closes March 11!!! I have so much junk eeeeeek. I'm literally throwing so much away. Shoes, clothes, dishes... if it hasn't been used in 3 years it's gone.
Yes! I'm so excited I'll have an AC this summer!! And we can walk to the park with free wading pool. It's gonna be a fun summer :-D
How exciting! Are you staying in the area? I don't want to make you give too much info... In which direction, and about how many driving minutes will it take to get there from where you are (since I have a general idea of your current location, I think I might be able to understand)? Is this super creepy, or what?
The weekend went by way too fast here. I did have a wonderful time at the grocery store with D (spare me, PB jinx). He seems to have developed some manners, self-control, and listening skills in the last few weeks. I'm "sleeping" while H tries to get P to sleep. She is not having it!
We did Cortlandt's fantastic 5 birthday photoshoot today and I am in love with the pictures! The photographer is a friend of ours and is amazing with Cortlandt and helping through his sensory issues and getting him to look at the camera!
We also had Cortlandt's Neurofibromatosis appointment last Thursday and they wanted to look at Camden and Jace too and they believe that they do not have NF and it is a HUGE weight off of our shoulders! There is something genetically with all 3 that we will go into more when the time comes but for now we are just enjoying being able to breathe!
We adopted a puppy this week so we've been busy working on getting him house broken. It's worse than potty training a toddler, which we are working on at the same time. It's exhausting!
Jealous (lol). I want a pet but we all were sick when we were going to look and then went out if town. It just moved down the to-do list temporarily. JA wants a kitty cat or dog. I prefer dog. DH likes dogs but thinks cats are easier. So we need to find one we all agree on too. Post a puppy pic when you can!
Oh man, I like dogs, but I am just not a dog person. Give me a hundred cats any day over a dog. That is making it a little more difficult for me, but DH has been asking (begging) for a puppy for years. Now that we have decided we are officially done with having babies, I thought it was a good time for a puppy. I'll try to post of pic of him tonight, he is gorgeous!
nesenotes, congrats on the house!! I know you were looking, but didn't realize you found the one. Tell us about it, besides that it has air conditioning!

Ha! No worries, I'm in the next city over. If anyone wants to steal my skins they will be sorely disappointed by all the stretch marks ;-) I'm moving to Lakewood. But it's actually a very family friendly city. Lots of activities and a park every several blocks. No lie. So I might join the moms group and tot lot program this year. And I'm blocks away from 2 malls. Woot for shopping and dining.

It's not fancy, just a middle of the line average house for SoCal. The girls get a whole wall of closet!! Lucky ladies. They get their own bathroom because I have a master. So I'm in the process of convincing mike that a double sink is perfect for their bathroom. It totally has the room for it so I think it'd be perfect. Oh i have a bath now!! Emery has had to bathe in the sink and now in the walk in shower. So she can take a bath and pretend to swim. The kitchen has the dining area in it so I think that's perfect because I usually wash dishes while emery eats. And the living room is a pretty good size. Emery will have a lot of room for twirling and dancing. I've gotta get them a play house too. All in all I think it will be perfect for us for at least the next 15 years.
nesenotes That's great! I don't know much about Lakewood, but I've heard only good things. Congrats!! I'm jealous of anyone who can own a home in a good neighborhood in SoCal!
nesenotes that sounds perfect! It might not be fancy but it's going to be awesome for you to have those things; your own bathroom, air conditioning, a bigger livingroom. I love it!
I think youre right that if there's enough space, put in the double sink. With two girls it will save sanity in years to come!
Congrats again on the new house, that's so exciting!
We got home late last night from a long weekend in Utah. We skied on Saturday and Sunday and just chilled most of the day Monday. We tried putting Henry on skis, but it don't go well.
