Up pumping at 320....loving life! I just fed Owen and had to stop halfway to change his diaper since he had at least 10 huge sharts and I feared an explosion! So much poo. Normally he doesn't go that much at once. I hope it was just catch up because he didn't go as much the day before and not a reaction to the antibiotics I'm taking for my csection incision infection! We shall see!
I normally let DH take the MOTN feedings but I was feeling generous.
Gearing up for another week of being stuck in the house because it's so cold.
Can babies fake being asleep!? Because I seriously think it's a game for Z tonight! Right when I think I can get comfortable and put her down she opens her eyes and squirms everywhere. This time she's demanding to be fed but my nipples hurt so she's getting a bottle. Maybe I'll sleep when she's in college...
I am up pumping and just fed DS. He's back asleep already so hopefully he'll stay asleep until I'm done pumping! We're down to one MOTN feeding (usually) and has gotten better about going right back to sleep which makes life much easier! I've been EPing since week one (he's almost 7 weeks) and it was like he was rooting around trying to nurse last night. It made me sad and feel guilty like I should try nursing again.
We're supposed to get a little ice tonight which means the whole state of Texas flips out and I'm hoping DH will be home from work part of the day since the clinic we work at automatically closes if there are school closures!

Just fed Sawyer again. We're still waking up every 2hrs to eat but he has gotten much more efficient and has been going right back to sleep afterwards. Unlike last week where he would take 30-45mins every 2hrs to eat and then another 20 to get him back to sleep. I'm going to count this as a win. At this point we've got to take our victories where we can get em.
FTM question: When does their breathing even out? Sawyer likes to randomly hold his breath for a few seconds and scare the crap out of his mommy. He's just over 3wks old so I have a feeling I'm just going to have to deal with it for a while but I really hope it evens out soon. I'm tired of freaking out multiple times a day bc he's not breathing.

It's an ice day here in Texas! Its currently sleeting/freezing rain like crazy outside. My husband is working from home today and I'm so happy to have help.
LO has been sleeping so well at night. Not STTN or anything, but he gives us some good stretches lately. I'm hoping it's not a fluke.
I kind of panicked when I woke up and she hadn't, so I crept in to check on her, and I think I woke her up because she cried for food like 5 minutes later. Dumb.
DS2 slept pretty well. I'm still sick. DS2 had a fever of 99.8 last night and feels warm this morning too, but the doctor said not to worry about it unless he's showing other symptoms. FX he doesn't get this crap that everyone else in the family has had.
I'm getting my car serviced today and seeing my SIL. Wednesday I return to work. Eek!
I'm one happy mommy right now!! H slept from 9-3:30 woke up and ate went right back to sleep and is still asleep right now!!!! I am loving the one MOTN feeding! He has been going long stretches for about a week now! He is still eating every 3 hours during the day and not taking long naps (maybe 2/1hour naps) unless he is being held then he will sleep longer. BTW I am FF.
Anyone else waiting forever for their tax return this year?
Lo slept through the night! I caved in and coslept but it got me a full night so I guess I'll take it. I just don't want this to be the beginning of the end... In other news dss finally has school starting today after that snow storm last week, it will be good to have some quiet in the house

In the waiting room for my massage this morning. Hopefully he can work out my knots in my back and do something about the tendinitis that is starting in my wrist.
Maybe it's an American/Canadian thing, but I don't think we ever cancel school because it's too cold. The kids don't go outside for recess, but school is still open.
At the city's employee health center. Hopefully they'll let me get back to work. Not getting my hopes up. The city likes to make everything so difficult.
Kid ended up sleeping from 8:30p-4:20a and 5:15-6:30a. This mom, however, has been up since 2:30a with only an hour nap so far. This isn't how it's supposed to work...

I was up all night running back and forth from the bathroom thinking I was going to be sick so I'm rescheduling DD's dentist appointment and nesting on the couch.

My BFs have been taking forever, hes finally supposed to get them Wednesday which is good because I would really like a new vehicle that will fit all of our children
We haven't even filed yet. I have to go to the social security office to get a card for Jude. One never came for him and I can't finish without it.
My body feels like I've been in a car accident from nursing my girl in weird positions at night. She loves side lying but somehow my arms wind up twisted over my head and my back at a funky angle. The upside is she is sleeping better (some 3-4 hour stretches, even with the reflux). Today is my PP check up. I'm nervous because I'm still struggling with my BP (I had bad PP pre-e. It's fun being a special snowflake). She's planning on blood work and possibly a medication change if things haven't improved. Ugh.

My H and I went through the shed and got rid of boxes of clothes. We are donating it to the homeless woman and children center. The men stuff goes to the homeless men shelter. Feels good helping others out, plus clearing up space. We've got tons left to go through in the garage, but the shed is done!
I also put all the preemie and newborn clothes away yesterday. And pulled out 3 month clothes. Hopefully he'll stay a little longer in those, since it was difficult packing the other clothes up. I need to recoup from that heartache.

All of this. My arms go numb and my shoulder blades hurt since I basically end up sleeping all night on the side. Another reason to cont trying to transition baby out of our bed.
And I also had pre-e. I left the hospital with 2 meds and 1 was super high dose. Now the dosage is more regular but my ob wants me to follow up with my primary and I've yet to make an appt.

1st day back at work. And baby leo at daycare. *Insert crying face here* Hope he's doing ok. He was asleep when I dropped him off. But I know his tummy ached...he didn't poop at all yesterday and was fussy all day.
Other than missing my baby lots, work is ok. Catching up on emails. All the mgrs I work with are out today so can't really get an update on the business. Oh well. Guess I'll take it easy. Maybe leave early too.
