Thanks LO for sleeping while I did 30 day shred workout video. But that was only 20ish minutes long and now I want a shower. I think he's working on a massive poop right now.

Day 2 at work and started crying while looking at pictures of my baby. I was trying to find the best one to show my coworkers and the tears start flowing. Yesterday I was ok all day, but then he slept almost the entire evening and then bedtime. I didn't realize that once I got home I can't sit and hold him while he sleeps I have dinner to make and get things ready for the next day. And now he's sleeping less in the day and sleeping more 5-9 pm. I get no smiles or cooing or new funny faces.

Naptime makes me feel like the biggest failure. DS2 cries the whole time I'm putting DS1 to sleep, and I lose all patience with DS1. I hate it.
Unrelated, I've decided my letdown is too fast, and was the cause of some of our problems. I've been using reclined nursing positions for the past day and a half, and I definitely notice a difference. I'll have to figure something out for NIP, but hopefully this helps DS2 sleep at night.
I got 9 hours of sleep broke up in only 2 chunks! Fist 6.5 then another 2.5vwith only and hour up in between. I'm feeling pretty confident to try the crib tonight. His first time going down he is always out like a light so I think it could be a success
I have 4 little bears, just like my name says. 2 girls 2 boys ages 8,5,3, and my newest babe. 2 of my little bears have life threatening food allergies, feel free to ask me more about that!

Apparently 2015 is the year that everything in my life will change. Having a baby was a big enough change for me thanks. But my mom let me know the other day that her and dad have both started talking to lawyers. The divorce has been a long time coming and I know she'll be better off once it's over but divorce is never fun. Then yesterday I was told by our landlord that in a few days, our unit is being foreclosed on and the bank should be offering me money to vacate in 30 days. Since I'm not working anymore we'll be moving closer to his work so that he doesn't have to spend nights away from home. It's the right decision but I've never lived more than 15 minutes from where I do now. I know and love this area a lot. My parents also live here and I'm only 3 minutes from one of the best beaches in the world. This is my home and I'm terrified to live somewhere else. And I'm sure moving with a newborn won't be fun. Gah I'm stressed. Sorry for my long post

Right there with you. Even if DD2 isn't crying, I'm short with DD1 because I want to wrap up before DD2 starts crying. I can't read DD1 stories while standing and bouncing DD2. Thank god DH is home for bedtime. How do people do this?
Stupid question, how do you know when to change your baby up in a diaper size if you don't know their exact weight?
Poop and pee explosions. Or if the diaper is too tight on them. We ran out of NB and tried size 1 for a few days, but he was swimming in them. There's weight overlap on sizes so NB goes up to 10 lbs, size 1 starts 9 lbs or some variation of that. A lot of it depends on your baby's body shape.

I've been so nervous about taking LO out of the apartment every time we leave in case she has a meltdown and wants to nurse. I think I've finally realized she's an angel in her car seat. Maybe whimpers a bit when we strap her in, but then naps for all of our drives and most of the time when we get where we're going. Now I understand why desperate parents take middle of the night drives!!
DH and i have our first legitimate night out tonight!! Double date to a fancy restaurant its a seafood restaurant, which I don't even like haha but I've browsed the menu for all the land-animal items. And alllll the cocktails. Now I just have to decide between key lime pie, bread pudding and the chocolate torte. Yep, I really do my menu homework lol. So excited!

Blowouts is my answer. We accidentally pulled out some size ones too early. We folded them over at the front but still have poop on our bouncy seat twice in one day. The front went way over her belly button so it was obvious they were too big.
PISA starts on letdown mode, when the milk starts you hit the button which takes you out of letdown mode. After you have been pumping, if the milk stops you can hit the button again, going back into letdown mode, which could stimulate a second letdown. At least that's how I understand it.

Makes since we've had a few explosions but not a whole lot. I don't think he's even close to that we have an appointment tomorrow so I'll know for sure! Thank you!

I tried a size one yesterday and it seemed pretty huge on him but new borns sometimes have explosion I think we're just in a weird size right now.
lexishay When it was time for us to switch to size 1 I had noticed the NB sizes were tight and starting to leave marks on her legs, soon after noticing that she started having blowouts with every poop.

I thought it was the opposite?? It starts in stimulation mode (the faster one) and switches over to letdown at the 6 minute mark but if you start letting down sooner you press the button. Then when the letdown is over you press the button again to start the stimulation phase.

Yeah, this is what my manual says. It starts in stimulation mode and you press the button when letdown begins.

...Or this wording makes more sense.
That's what I get for commenting before I read everything!
My mom came over and watched DS2 while I played in the snow with DS1, and then she watched both boys while I went grocery shopping. Gosh, I never appreciated a solo grocery shopping trip before I had kids.

Sorry didn't mean to cause confusion. My Medela pump starts fast, stimulation mode, then slows down automatically which at this point milk is letdown or flowing (called expression mode). My pump has a button with drops next to it and the lactation consultant called it the letdown button. When I press it the machine starts going fast again to stimulate letdown again.
I wanted to know if I keep pressing this button in the hopes of stimulating another let down if that is at all harmful to supply, nipple, etc.
Edit: what do you know that button does both, slows down and speeds up machine.
