@clgsquared congrats on your recovery, that is an awesome life decision!!
The frozen tundra of MA.
TTC #1 since August
Just BD and temping
I'm on CD 3, looking forward to sending AF packing and working on getting good timing.
Mood? I'm a little bummed, my strange 16 day LP (I average 10-12) was a MF for sure. But at least it didn't go on too long and now I can settle in for this month. Have my annual exam this month too and it's been 6 mo of trying so will start the discussions about what to do next.
Best decision? That's tricky. I think moving to Boston. I was all set to live in DC in a relationship that had run its course. I got rid of the guy and on a whim asked the company I work for if they could switch my offer to Boston. Two of my best friends lived here and I needed a fresh start. I always swore I'd never live anywhere cold...ha! But most of the time I love it...plus I met DH
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). IVF #2: zero eggs retrieved IVF #3: 6R, 5M, 5F, 3 (2 8A and 1 11A) transferred, one "B" graded embryo frozen on day 5. BFP (at home 7dp3dt, confirmed 14dp3dt with 1552 beta) and U/S at 5w5d, 2 sacs and 2 yolks!
Where are you from: The barren winter wasteland of the East Coast
Status: Cycle 4 of TFAS
What are you doing this month? OPKs, prenatals, EOD during FW
Where are you at in your journey? TWW, blerg.
What is your mood? Feeling good about our timing but we shall see!
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made? The best decision I've made lately is to not go back to my full-time job after my son was born. It was a negative and stressful environment and I was unhappy. I upset a lot of people by not returning but now I'm doing part-time work I enjoy and I'm 100% less anxious.
@clgsquared, Sorry AF seems to be on the way but congrats on being in recovery. My sister is in recovery so I understand the work and determination that goes into it.
wannabmama, my LP has been out of whack too (but on the short side), FX that yours rights itself!
What are you doing this month? temping, maybe OPK, vitamin D, waiting to see what the rest of my test results reveal
Where are you at in your journey? waiting to O - AF just took a hike. I had CD3 blood work last week and HSG tomorrow. My DR already had me start taking Vitamin D as my previous tests showed that was really low.
What is your mood? anxious for the HSG, hopeful that we'll get some easy next steps that work!
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made? Going back to school and quitting my job for an internship at the end of my second degree. Scariest thing I did but honestly my life is a billion times better.
wannabmama, my LP is all kinds of crazy - I'm hoping that vitamin D and whatever else my Dr decides will help straighten it out! Makes it SO hard to get hopeful or feel like you have any idea what is going on when it is different every month
Status: TTC#1 for Him, #3 for me since November 2013
What are you doing this month? DHEA, Prenatals, Vitamin D, CoQ10, starting accupuncture next week (I hope)
Where are you at in your journey? CD 152...seeing what happens for now with plans to get the IVF with DE ball rolling in April.
What is your mood? sort of whatever today. Was excited last week to think I O'ed like a big girl, but I was just getting sick... and then getting better. 3 days of dropping temps fixed that false hope. Didn't expect it until 2-3 months of DHEA so not terrible crushed, just annoyed that I fell for it.
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made? Getting divorced from my ex. I thought it made me a failure and I didn't try hard enough. Ton of mind games there and I was sure it was all my fault. Seeing where he is now and all his new wife is going through I am glad I got out. (Warrant in debt just showed up at our house for him a couple weeks ago) I wish I could have helped her see it but I was just the crazy ex wife. I am just thankful for DH, he's great about all the baggage I bring with me from that relationship. I tell myself he's my karma for dealing with all the BS of my ex for as long as I did... so it was worth it.
@clgsquared, congratulations! I know a few others that have made the same journey and I admire your determination and conviction, that's a hard battle to fight.

vh2014 sorry about the never ending cycle, so unfair for temps to play with your mind like that too, ugh!
Also, love the karma philosophy, ha!
winogirl the wonky LP is no fun...I'm telling myself to be happy it was strangely long bc others had been 10 days so I was worried they were getting too short...I guess I'll take too long instead! (Just have to not test or get hopes up too early!)
What are you doing this month? First time temping and charting, prenatals, BD
Where are you at in your journey? TWW for me as well, 8 DPO. AF due this weekend.
What is your mood? I'm still excited and hopeful.
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made?Probably going to nursing school. Even though I quit last year so I could stay home with our kids for a while, it's a career that isn't going anywhere and will be waiting for me when I'm ready to go back.
What are you doing this month? Charting/temping, OPK, baby asprin, prenatal
Where are you at in your journey? CD 14. FF says I am 5DPO but she is drunk.
What is your mood? Flabergasted. If FF is not drunk, then that means I O'd cycle day 9, earliest ever. I never had any noticeable fertile CM, O pains or such so even though the timing is fine, poor spermies didn't have much of a chance to survive the journey. Even with my first cycle after my first loss I had O on CD 18 I think. Another day of low temps should take away my crosshairs.
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made? Moving back to where I grew up 10 years ago. All the major events of the past 10 years took place after I moved back.
@clgsquared, Congrats on your success. wannabmama, Hope AF makes a short stay octavia65, FX for a BFP! winogirl, Good luck with the HSG vh2014, Sorry your body is giving you such a shitty time rnmommy, I would love to quit and be a SAHM. I'm so envious of you.
lickwed, It's one of the best decisions we've ever made for our family. It was difficult losing my income, but I know that it's the only reason I've been successful breastfeeding our son. I went back to work when our second daughter was 5 months old and what little BM I had for her dried up because, even though the hospital was legally required to give me breaks to pump, it's hard as hell to find someone to watch my patients so I can disappear for half an hour.
Status: TTC#2 with DH (#3 for me) since July 2014, 1 loss in January 2015
What are you doing this month? Hopefully lots of sex, and I'm starting temping again since this my first real period after my loss. I'm on the fence about OPKs, but might consider them again in the future, but taking a break for now.
Where are you at in your journey? CD2 - Honestly, I was happy to welcome AF for the first time in 8 months...I feel like it means I am basically back to normal and good to move on to TTC again.
What is your mood? Hopeful that we will get pregnant again.
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made? It was gracefully handling the decision that my ex-H made to get divorced from me. Many people thought I was too easy on him, with my then 3 month old to take care of, but I felt like I was stuck with him for life, so I might as well make it peaceful. I can now pat myself on the back for how I handled that. I love my life now, feel extremely blessed to have DH, and DS2, and couldn't imagine it any other way.
@clgsquared, I'm so sorry that bitch is trying to travel. You are such a strong person to have been through recovery, that really touched my heart. wannabmama, glad that AF is moving out and good luck with your timing this month. octavia65,FX for this cycle. I understand about being in a job that is negative and a complete downer. Sometimes situations like that just lead to more stress in ones life. winogirl,Good luck with your test results and good luck with your hsg on tomorrow. Hopefully it will be quick and painless. vh2014, my divorce was the best thing that every happened to me and I am so much better for taking that step. I totally understand how you feel. rnmommy, FX that AF will stay away this weekend. lickwed, hopefully FF will sober up and get her shit together.
AFM Where are you from: TN
Status: TTC #3 since 1/14
What are you doing this month? Evening primrose oil, pnv, temping, sex,
Where are you at in your journey? As soon as I stop bleeding I will start temping again. I can't tell if I am having a light period or if I am still bleeding from the surgery. My Dr's office said I should have stopped bleeding by now and that it is most likely a light period. My actual start date would not have been until this Friday so we will have to see what happens once I stop bleeding. They said the surgery could mess with my cd and I'm just ready for it to be done. I can't use tampons during this cycle and I really, really, really hate pads.
What is your mood? Weepy. I am crying at everything. I feel like and emotional mess. I cried last night watching the voice, wth.
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made. I would have to say that finishing my BA after my divorce was one of my best decisions. Because of that I completed my Masters, and I am currently continuing my education and getting my MAT.
What are you doing this month? Praying for a miracle since we had awful timing
Where are you at in your journey? AF is due in a few days.
What is your mood? A mixture of being a sob machine because I feel like I'm sucking at life lately and being grateful that we sold a rental property of ours for a nice profit
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made? It was kind of made for me but my ex broke up with me in 2003 and although I didn't see it at the time, it was my chance to get out of the awful small town we were living in. I moved to a big city and haven't looked back.
What are you doing this month? OPKs, a ton of vitamins and HIO whenever
Where are you at in your journey? CD5
What is your mood? Excited to start HIO already!!
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made? I remember when meredithcarole asked this as a GTKY topic on TD My response then was leaving an abusive relationship. Now, I think it's a toss up b/w that one, quitting my job and relocating for a man (something I'd NEVER do...but hey, we ended up married! Not that I didn't have a contingency plan on mind if it didn't work out!) and quitting my job to be a secondary caregiver to my dad after his terminal diagnosis.
I'm ashamed. I buckled and tested today at 8 DPO. BFN. I'm weak. I'm going to buy more Dollar Store tests tomorrow so I don't buckle and waste my fancy Clear Blue digitals with the weeks indicator.
What are you doing this month? Charting/temping, OPK, baby asprin, prenatal

FF actually called CD9 as my O day too which is my earliest ever as well. I didn't have any other signs either. I was actually reading this thinking I was reading my own post!
rnmommy we've all done it. hats off to you for owning it. good luck in the next few days changing that n to a p. Flashback time- anyone else remember letter man (I think it was the electric company but maybe sesame Street) I could really use him right now if he has a stash of p's for changing. Lol

rnmommy I stocked up from dollar store, too, after my last cycle where I finally cracked and began the test obsession. I'm happy to have them stashed away, like a security blanket for anytime crazy train pulls into town!
I have my fx for you that your next test has a more positive result

QOTW: Tough question, but I would say marrying my husband, we have our ups and downs and we had a rough first year of marriage but he is a good man and those things made us stronger. He loves me no matter what, doesn't get any better than that.

Where are you from: PA
Status: Cycle 7 TTC #2
What are you doing this month? Temping, opk's, PNV's
Where are you at in your journey? 11dpo, bfn's yesterday and today. I'm not feeling too hopeful about this cycle, so I'm looking forward to testing with the RE next week, and hopefully starting Femara +TI.
What is your mood? See above!
QOTW: What was one of the best decisions you have ever made? After a bad breakup in my early 20's, I swore I'd never relocate for a man again. I broke my own rule to be with my DH-to-be, and I can't imagine what my life would be like if I hadn't!
Another Popsicle from Michigan TTC #2 20th cycle Currently undergoing iui. As in at the office now. Took femara 3-8, trigger last night. Will have another iui tomorrow.
Feeling hopeful. Dh's sample today was really good. My follies looked good. Please stars-align for us!
I was frustrated yesterday because we had a consult appointment with the dr. We are debating iui or ivf if this cycle doesn't work. DH was able to get off work which never happens. Anyway dr was running an hour late with consults and we had to reschedule hopefully this cycle works and no plan is needed. Best decision? Forcing DH to marry me. Lol. It had been 5 years and I gave him an ultimatum. Luckily, I think he feels the same.
TTC since July 2014. CP March 2015. IVF #1 March 2016, 5R, 3M, 2F with ICSI. Transferred 2 on day 3. CP. Surprise BFP and then CP August 2016 (prep cycle for IVF). @clgsquared, ditto. AF used to be so regular and now that I am tracking all the things she is turning into a wack-job that shows up whenever she feels like it!!
