Right handed. Sometimes I try to do things with my left hand because I think if I ever lost the ability to use my right hand I would be a mess. Trying to practice for the possibility of needing to switch using my left hand.
This may be because my father is a lefty and had a stroke and then lost the use of his left hand. I think I thought about things like this prior to that happening but since then it is always a thought in the back of my mind.
Righty! I always wanted to be a lefty though growing up. They had special scissors.
My mom told me once that I had trouble cutting a straight line when I was in kindergarten, so my family used to send me all types of scissors to try to help out my poor lefty self.
Andplusalso, I still can't cut in a straight line.

My first grade teacher wrote a note in cursive to the pre-1 teacher asking for the new lefty scissors after seeing how bad my project came out.
she asked me to deliver it and I arrived crying because I thought I was being sent back half a grade because I couldn't cut!

Lefty, but there are a ton of things I do with my right hand (use a computer mouse, throw, catch, open jars). I don't know if that was born of preference or necessity/habit.
I haaaaate scissors; even lefty scissors don't generally work for me.
I'm a righty, but DH is a lefty. My dad is also a lefty, so is my brother and my nephew. I'm fairly certain our kids have a swing at being left handed haha.
Righty but people always ask me because I wear my watch on my right hand instead of my left. I didn't know there was a specific wrist to use?
I tried to wear my watch on my right wrist once and my dad scolded me. He said the reason you wear it on the opposite wrist is so it doesn't get in your way while doing stuff with your dominant hand. He probably made that up though.
No, that's what everyone has said me to as well. But it feels more comfortable that way!

This makes sense to me, I always wear my jewelry on my left hand so it doesn't get in the way!
Both DH and I are lefties. My great-grandma would yell at me for it when I was trying to learn how to crochet. Now there are youtube channels dedicated to teaching lefties!
Lefty scissors suck, I hated having to use them in school. To this day I still cut right-handed.
Same, except my school never had lefty ones. So I had to use the righty ones.
On that note, did y'all ever discover the joys of left handed spiral notebooks? I finally found out about them in high school and it was like the happiest day of my life.
