My best friend would be my worst nightmare on TB. She's live blogging her pregnancy via FB and asks some ridiculous questions. She's 29 weeks and wants to know if internals start at her next appointment (this is just the most recent one I can think of). It's taking all I have to not block my closest friend of over 25 years.
Do y'all remember that girl in our first or second tri that got scared by her husband in the dark & she screamed really loud so she thought her baby was going to go deaf? That was so epic.
DD slept 11pmish to 5:30am night before last and 7pm to 4:30am last night. She has a cold so I'm putting it down to that and cautiously hoping it continues when she's well again...
My DD's sleep suddenly improved last week and we're at 6 days in a row. Before that it was 3x ever.
This gives me hope. The last two nights the baby has only woken once to eat.
I just cursed myself saying that out loud, I know it.

I'm really liking this new board. The taptalk app is easy to use and I like how they give you a ticker of most recent posts from all the boards. Makes it easier to lurk on the other boards. Also I found a thread on here on Zankie! From Big Brother? Apparently Zack is officially out of the closet and him and Frankie are a real couple! Finding that thread seriously made my whole day yesterday.

They're a real couple? I knew they were still friends. I had no idea they became an official couple. It's about time Zach realized he's gay.
I need to sit down for 30 minutes and figure out tap talk.

I need a drink after the drs appointment I just had for DD. We went for her 6month check up to the ENT specialist for her Laryngomalacia and he wanted to scope her. It was horrible for me to have to hold her arms down and her head while they shoved that camera down her throat so sad, poor thing was not having it.

All this talk of The Princess Bride made me watch it after the girl's appointment today. All three kids fell asleep... DS fell asleep with me on the couch, the girls napped, it was so quiet. I would have napped, but kids... I did "watch" half the movie with my eyes closed though. I was too tired to open them.
I like this place better already, but it does lack the newb craziness that allows for snark and flamings.
People are still inviting anyone who posts on TTGP and Parenting over even if they don't have a long history, so I think we will still get some crazies. Maybe not in J14, but in some of the more general ones.
My EBF DD is having (and loving) her first ever bottle of formula. We're supplementing a little bit bc my supply isn't keeping up with demand. It's a bit sad but Im looking forward to many daddy-daughter bonding moments during nighttime feedings.
I just discovered my dog chewing through my left over absorbent breastfeeding pads. Weirdo.
I had to buy a new trash can with a locking lid so my dog would stop eating mine. Gross creatures!!
Also, hi. I missed you guys! My baby is so old now, and just cut her first tooth. I'm still figuring out this site so ignore my newb/lurker profile and lack of gifs.

Good luck "feed training" your H!!!! It's been a process over here.
I often wonder about those people on kids shows. Are they paid well? Do they think they're celebrities? Do they feel silly doing some of the things they do?

My DD is EBF and has refused every attempt at a bottle. I do pump once in a while just in case so I have about 30 ounces in the freezer. I've made up a bottle a few times for H to try and he is totally overwhelmed and nervous by it. I think maybe she would take it if he would just relax. It isn't that he doesn't want to help, he just has a hard time with it I guess.

DS1 was the same way and since he wouldn't take it easily, it just made DH that much more nervous to try it and he gave up easily. It was frustrating.
I just watched Jehovah's Witnesses go knock on the doors of my neighbors who clearly aren't home but totally avoid my house where two cars are parked in the driveway. Maybe they don't feel like talking to people any more than people usually feel like talking to them?

I do too. I also rate things on the shows, gauging if any amount of money could get me to do that.
While I was getting the diapers shipment off the porch, DS was unscrewing one of the table legs in the dining room. He got it off, and was rather proud of himself, and ran away from me with the wing nuts squealing. That about sums up my day my life right now. DD1 was up until 2am whining because she was tired and sore from the shots, so it was bound to be one of those days.
