LO slept 6 hours again last night. Third night in a row! Although with how little she sleeps during the day, she should have like ten hour stretches at night! It's ok, though. I'll take 6.
I love my husband but i might kill him. Baby was awake from 4-6. Finally got him to sleep and my toddler busts in at 6:15 and wakes us both up. Good job controlling that situation hubs.
On a more positive note, we reviewed our newborn photos last night and I love them. Can't wait to actually have them so I can look at them a million more times.
So we seem to be on a routine. We put Owen to bed around 10 o'clock and he wakes up around 4 and then sleep again until about 6 or 7. So my husband take the 4 o'clock feeding / diaper change and I get up to pump at that point.
Today I'm going back to the OB to have my incision checked. It looks better so I'm hoping everything's okay.
Also going to attempt some grocery shopping after my appointment.
I just realized I never mailed my thank you cards out. What's the etiquette on mailing shower thanks? If I whip up some photo thank yous today would that make up for the lateness? How can you be mad about getting a late thank you when there's a cute face on it?
It has been so bitterly cold here and I've driven my car so little that it killed the battery. It's been on a charger since yesterday afternoon, so we will see if I end up having to buy a new battery. My current one is only a few years old too. Grrrrrr.
House of Cards new season drops today, so that's what I'll be doing. Hoping for a bit more sleep first.
What size clothing does your LO wear? Charlotte is only 9 weeks but is already busting out of 0-3 month. 3-6 and some 6 month sizes fit her a lot better. She is tall/long limbs. Are there any baby brands that fit taller babies better?
LO is just over 5 weeks and she is already wearing some 3-6 month stuff. She hasn't fit new borns since the first week. She has a super long torso though so lots of shorter, wider stuff never fit her at all. It's hard to find long skinny onesies!

I think with a newborn, it doesn't matter. At least I keep telling myself that since I've yet to send mine out from my last shower. I figure people will understand. My goal is to get them and birth announcements out before LO is two months old... meaning I have like 4 days.

We had to get a new battery this week too. And we just bought the car in December:thumbdown:

I have a $20 Shutterfly card that has to be used by tomorrow. So that's what I'll do today. Jude is 2 months, so I missed that newborn boat. But now I can include a pic of him with big smiles.

Third night of a 5-6 hr stretch followed by another 3-4 hrs. This is great!! I hope it continues and he isn't just resting me up for what's to come....
I have my birth announcement/thank you cards sitting on the table. They are uber cute photo cards but they are all empty. I have to get on that. I did address all the envelopes and I think that's the worst part.
DS1 had his school concert last night. Oh my. What a ham. He's certainly not shy. He also told his teacher during the day that his Dad was going but not his Mom because she's breastfeeding and Miles would be hungry. LOL - I guess I'm not the only who feels like I feed him all day long even though that's really not the case.

I'm having this problem already and C is only 6 weeks; he is so tall! If you get an answer to this, let me know

Woke up to Em cooing and "yelling" in the bassinet. When I looked over she was wide awake just chattering away. It was if she was saying hey guys, are you up yet?!
So DD who is 22 months just grab my pump flanges with the bottles attached, put the on her chest and started making the sound that the pump makes. Sooo funny!

The organic granola that I love was on sale at the grocery store yesterday so we bought like 4 bags of it because we never get it. I'm so excited about my breakfast. Haha.
1. DS1 calls it "making milk" when I pump. He'll ask, "Are you making milk, Mommy?" Then he'll want to help put the flanges on me and turn on the pump. Super weird.
2. I wore my pumping bra to work yesterday because I had to pump in the car on the way, and I forgot to bring a real bra. I don't think anyone noticed because I had on a blazer. That wasn't so bad for my biggest mistake on the first day back at work.
