Question - For those of you who nurse in public, would you order an alcoholic drink and drink it while nursing? I skipped the drink when we went out last weekend because I was too afraid people (or the server) would judge me, but I was at least proud of myself for being able to nurse. I used a cover, so I don't think many people even noticed, and I missed my sangria.

I probably would. I wouldn't be ordering shots, but a glass of wine, a small beer, a sangria sure why not? I'd probably only order 1 though. But I'm a lightweight when it comes to alcohol.
We are getting snow right now. There is a couple inches on the ground and its still coming down pretty hard. I have spent my day gathering LO's things to start daycare Monday and for me to go back to work ...... sad mommy this weekend. I probably won't be keeping up with everyone as much since I won't be home all day.
Had a good day today, even went to the botanical gardens and trekked around and then tmi.... The runs are back. I just realized that one of the tests my cnm wanted to run is for c-diff... But you have to bring it to the lab 2 hours after it is collected... And I only seem to have this problem after the lab is closed... I want to cry. After reading the symptoms of c-diff it sounds like what I've had... Hospital stay followed by a uti that needed antibiotics, which kill your good flora, then c-diff takes over. I swear that this is the Murphy's law of postpartum recoveries, if anything can go wrong it will.
grommom I'm really sorry if you do have c. diff, it isn't pretty. I see it at work and it looks like it takes a lot out of people.
Thanks. I've basically been sick for two to three days in a row and had one day off between since last Saturday... I think because at some point there's nothing left in me. It took me until Thursday in the middle of the night to contact my CNM and then now I'll have to time being sick so the lab will be open... Not fun at all.
