Thoughts on tonight's episode?

Personally, I really liked it. A little bummed at some changes made to Alexandria but so far, so good. Really curious as to who got the gun Rick hid in the blender. And the guys who strung up the roamer, ugh. So what it killed your friend. So glad Glenn knocked him on his ass.

I'm so loving this new storyline!? Carol cracks me up, but seriously somebody needs to hose Darryl off.

I really liked tonight's episode! Things are always too good to be true on there and they're totally right about not letting their guard down. Wow, doesn't Rick clean up nice? Too bad we don't get to see Daryl clean up nice...or maybe later?

I really liked it. But I always enjoy the more intellectual, less fighting episodes. I thought the Carol and Daryl conversation was hysterical.

I thought my husband was going to have a fit when Rick shaved. His reaction was too funny.

I'm really curious about that quiet girl that Carl followed over the wall. What's up with her?

Also, comedy highlight of the episode goes to Michonne. She had a look of pure glee on her face after brushing her teeth for 20 minutes.

I loved Carol's mom jeans haha. I'm worried that since the head lady said she reads people really well that she sees right through Carol's act.
I'm also really curious about the gun. Someone on talking dead also made a good point that it seemed like that walker was put there as a trap. I think they have surveillance all over: complete transparency.

I liked tonight's episode as well. I was cracking up at Carol... at first I was confused why she was being so strange, but obviously she's trying to blend in and act unassuming, which could be very useful depending on how things go.

I really want Alexandria to be a safe place for them, but I'm worried about Rick's gun being taken from the blender. Maybe someone else was tracking their group (Morgan???) and took it once the group went inside the walls. I really think that threats to group while they're in Alexandria are going to come from the outside. There must be other (evil) groups out there that would want to take Alexandria for themselves.

Rick's beard shaving was fun to see but it made me wonder how other guys in the group have been able to stay clean shaven while they're been out in the wilderness...? Or have very specific facial hair like Abraham's mustache...

I remember seeing him briefly in a few scenes where they were all sleeping in the living room.

I liked last night's episode. Diana's son is a d-bag (at least he admitted it) and I am so glad Glenn knocked him a good one. Carl was right, they're good people but weak. Also Daryl's "We brought dinner" line was the best.

Speaking of Daryl, I loved how he jumped right into the fight to defend Glenn, and was pacing around like a mad dog after Rick separated them. I like to think it's because even after losing Beth and thinking the world sucks, he still loves his family more than he's willing to admit.

Andrew Lincoln needed that shave, badly. I literally yelled at the tv when he was showering "You look like Young Herschel, shave already!"

Good episode, really looking forward to next week. (Do NOT mess with Daryl, show!!!)

I thought the episode was really good, getting the group accustomed to a safe zone and easing the viewer into it as well. A lot of character development to come. Carol is playing it very smart I love her character. Carl saw the girl prior to entering the gated area so we know she has a story coming.

I don't trust anyone in the town. I think it's smart of Carol to play weak and try to fit in so she can maybe get some behind the scenes on what's going on in town.

Rick looks so much better cleaned up. Although he looked silly to me in the uniform after all this time not in one.

I'm wondering if it was the quiet girl that Carl followed that took Rick's gun. It seems like Carl came across Rick in the woods after following the girl, so maybe she had walked through that area before Rick got there. Plus, she's sneaking out of town so maybe she was hiding out in the woods when Rick hid the gun and she saw where he put it.

Seems crazy that there are only 4 episodes left this season. Although they've announced that the finale will be an hour and a half long. I image something has to go down to fill up that time.

I yelled FINALLY when Rick shaved. Then wooooo when he was in the shower. 

Glen knocking that guy out was hilarious. 

Im wondering what carols reasoning on pretending to be a lowly house wife is? Maybe she doesn't want them knowing she can survive outside because she's done with that life and wants to be the den mother again? Hmm. 

Something is up with that teenage girl. Maybe she was taken from her family? 

The blonde who cut ricks hair, Leary of her husband. I think he's going to cause issues. 

I feel like this is similar to the governors situation. Maybe the towns people really do enjoy their little life and are just obvlivious to what their leaders are doing?

I thought Rick looked like a mall cop or security from an office building in that uniform. Kinda ridiculous but I get that a uniform might help establish authority. Wonder if Michonne gets one too?

My sister in law made a good point about carol. Maybe she's thinking that someone is watching those videos. So she wants to seem like she isn't a threat.

I think it's possible that the girl is actually spying on Alexandria for another group. She could be sneaking out to meet up with and report what's been happening. She would want to go report the arrival of Rick's group, as they are probably now the strongest people in that community. And she could have definitely taken Rick's gun at some point while she was out there.

I don't remember them mentioning her parents at all. Something must have happened to her though since they said she didn't talk for 2 weeks. I could see her opening up to Carl eventually since they both had been outside the town while everyone else seems so happy go lucky inside the walls.

I thought this immediately after Carl came upon Rick. She was obviously in the area, and it doesn't seem like this is the first time she's been outside the walls, so she could've been watching them when they came up and Rick hid the gun. Not sure who planted the walker there, though. I'm very curious about where this girl's parents are. She couldn't have been out there on her own for that long, seems hard to believe she would've survived.

I really want this place to work out. The people, including Deanna, don't seem as Stepford-y as Woodbury. But Jessie's husband and Aidan are worrisome. But I think Aidan and his buddy just need to see how much Rick's gang knows about staying alive outside. Hopefully they'll come around.

Carol and her "aw shucks" junior league plan is super smart. Before I realized what she was doing and heard her say she MISSED Ed, I was like "WTF?! He was the worst!"

My prediction is that Rick starts hooking up with the blonde chick who cut his hair. That's all I have to add to this thread.

I am 95% sure Enid took the gun. 5% that it's Aidan.
This town is so weak, it makes rick's group look like the "bad group" especially after his last last line - that got me!
Wondering if/when michonne gets a uniform...

My favorite Rick look is how he looked towards the end of the episode (before he came out in the uniform) - when he had some scruff back on his face. I don't love him clean shaven either, but definitely like some scruff on him.

I never read the comic so don't know what's coming. It feels like Alexandria is going to set us up to see our "heroes" as bad guys. They've seen and experienced way too much to be domesticated at this point. Daryl seems like a caged animal in this setting. The town and the people are weak and oblivious to what has been going on outside the walls. They understand they need help which is why I think they brought the group in, but something is bound to go wrong. I believe Rick and the gang will be taking over and and showing their true disillusioned colors soon. Or they could live happily ever after

Something bad is going to happen and I think it has to do with that girl that snuck out. Her comic had the title Wolf Fighter or something. We already kinda now that is not good. Wolves have been mentioned a lot. I like that they are worried about going soft but I know Rick won't let that happen. I can't wait to see what goes down!
