The thank you Southwest employee letters in Spirit Magazine on our flight this morning. One CSR drove to Walmart to buy diapers etc for a passenger who got stranded in the airport at 1am with her baby. I was a puddle. n

Mine were my federal loans that went up and I called them directly.

I ugly cried when I got home from work and my husband was playing disc golf with his friend instead of being at home with me. I cried after I saw a photo of myself and thought I looked like a whale. I cried the other morning because I overslept. And I cried when one of my husband's close friends said he was redoing the room that is going to be our nursery. Like take down paneling and dry-wall, tear up the carpet and put in wood floors, and paint.

So. Many. Emotions.

I got married in 2013 and we filed jointly. My h makes significantly more than I do and my payments are also income based, so they jumped to 50% of what I make a month - assuming we make a lot more than we do (h has loans, too). We filed separately this year because I can't afford to pay. We lost out on a return ($1,000), but it would cover a month of payments - as a sub, I don't work in he summer, so it wouldn't make sense to file jointly for a one time bigger return.

My stupid insecurity about myself that SO is going to leave me or someone is going to take him from me. It's awful.. I genuinely believe that I'm not ''pretty'' enough

Today on my facebook feed was a picture of a sick owl that had eaten a poisoned mouse. The owl died as a result, and the photo was promoting the use of live traps versus mouse/rat poison. I don't know why it hit me so hard but I still haven't recovered!

Last night DH and I were making dinner and he asked me what was in the microwave. I said oh my god it must have been bumped because it doesn't have anything in it! Legit panicking. So he stops it, opens the door and I see frozen peas cooking in there: the ones I had put in about 30 seconds earlier.
I seriously could not remember.
He just laughed and patted my arm. I was sort of laughing until I told him how if been on a phone conference earlier in the day and totally lost my train of thought during a semi-argument. Then I stopped laughing and got a bit teary. Lame! Lucky a few minutes later I was laughing again.

I am freaking the fuck out right now. I am a contractor for the government. My coworker whom I am friendly with let me know that he got contacted by a sub-contractor with a job offer. The job was my position.... So I am freaking out that I am going to get fired. It is unclear if the job offer is just for my leave, or if I am being replaced. The job listing says 6+months to permanent for the contract term, which is much longer than my maternity leave. Also, they are offering like $25k more than I make now, what the fuck?! I just want answers NOW, but I will not be getting any time soon. Any thoughts or ideas for how I should handle this?

Go to the source and speak to your manager Asap. It could be a different role. But if it's your role then you have the right to know what's going on

Go to the source and speak to your manager Asap. It could be a different role. But if it's your role then you have the right to know what's going on

I am 99% sure it is my position as none of the other sites have more than 1 person in this position, and there would be no reason my site would be any different.

Yup, I give myself a prep talk everyday. I think ''he loves you, you know this.. Your having his kid for gods sake pull yourself together'' I literally have to repeat this everyday but still I think awful thoughts about myself. I do talk to him about it and he tells me I'm being stupid and that I'm the only one for him. I have extreme aniexty so badly.. Sometimes I feel I have no control over my thoughts. I stare in the mirror everyday and pick out imperfections, be it my skin or that my thighs look huge. I even doubt myself after putting on make up. I doubt my fashion choices and when I'm in public I think ''ive tried to make an effort and it still doesn't compare.. Look how pretty she looks, I wish I could be like her.. I wonder if he finds her attractive.. Look at her and then look at me'' it drives me insane but I try to deal with it. Literally 5 minuets ago I spent an hour obsessing over my skin in front of the mirror.. It's midnight here.

I know it's normal to be a bit self critical and compare and think others are prettier , every person does this but it's not healthy every day and to be consumed by these thoughts. Have you tried seeking professional help? It really isn't healthy to live like that.

I know it's normal to be a bit self critical and compare and think others are prettier , every person does this but it's not healthy every day and to be consumed by these thoughts. Have you tried seeking professional help? It really isn't healthy to live like that.

I had professional help in my mid teens & was on medication for aniexty - which I've since stopped and plan not to go back on. I talk to SO & that helps when it's at its worst. I was bullied a lot as a kid.. I'm thinking that's why I feel bad about myself at lot. I may try and reach out to someone. Thanks

That's heartbreaking. It would for sure make me tear up too. I'm pretty sure in our city they have banned rat poison for this reason. It sickens all the animals on the upper part of the food chain including making our neighborhood owls die and a mountain lion who lives in the hills of our area almost die.

Set up our bassinet today and thought it'd be a good idea to put my iPhone playing baby crying sounds in it so the dog gets used to it. He's completely unphased. I lasted about 15 seconds before the crying baby made me cry.

It's 06.45 and I've just been lay in bed crying. Not sleeping well at all - ever it seems. Stupid SO woke me up at 5am sneezing/coughing and wacking his pillow in my face while trying to get more comfy. Obviously this wakes me up. Read the online paper, was gawking on here for a while etc and then (standard) I have to get out of bed and pee. So as I'm getting back into bed I make a comment about if being freezing and how I'm not going to be able to fall back asleep now and he yelled at me and said that I needed to SSSHHHH and he was tired from working too much. 10 seconds later he's snorring and I'm lay here feeling selfish and bawling my eyes out happy bloody Sunday!

Oh and last night when applying cream I found my first strech mark, it's faint but definetly there, on my hip. I cried about that too. This weekend is turning out not to be a great one

I needed to bump this thread to share my pathetic crying moment from today… sorry it's, long. It will be hilarious tomorrow, probably.

Today is DH's birthday. His 30th! A big deal!!! MIL is coming up for dinner and sent me a message this morning asking if she could make a cake. I already had plans to make one, so I told her no, slightly annoyed that she thought I'd neglect to give him a cake for his birthday. ANYWAYS. I make him a cake. I try to make it look like his car because he loves his car so much. I fail. It's a disaster. He comes home, and tells me that it's an easy fix, just a bit un-proportionate. Haha. In his attempt to "fix" it, it gets completely demolished and and hour before his party we have a crumbled cake on the counter.

Long story short, DH is currently on his way to DQ to pick up his own replacement birthday cake while I cry like an insane person and shovel this car wreck into my face. But good lord, it's a delicious wreck.

I cried at the OB this morning because DH was talking so much and asking so many questions I couldn't get a word in edgewise. I figured it was a better option than screaming at him to STFU in front of the doc.

My MIL gifted me a really nice baby book I had been ogling at Anthropologie with her last weekend (bonus points for buying it cheaper online.) I flipped through it and read all the prompts yesterday and I ended up sobbing about the following: he's going to grow up, he isn't going to be my secret little buddy anymore, he won't call me when he's older, he's going to tell me he hates me, and our dog is going to get old and die. And we all are going to get old and die. There was more but those are the memorable ones. The hormones were strooooong yeaterday.

I've been homesick like woah, so counting the days til I get to go see my folks made me cry...still a whole month away dammit!

I also cried (at work, nonetheless) because this rebound YI does NOT want to go away. It seemed to chill out after the first round of goo from the MW, but came back with full burnination yesterday evening. I was so uncomfortable last night, I went out and got Monistat, and then proceeded to freak out this morning that I'd done something horribly wrong (even though Mayo Clinic says that stuff is totally fine for pregnancy). Another call to the MW and another Rx today. I don't know how they aren't getting sick of my voice on their voicemail - I'm sick of me, for crying out loud!

Long story short: Feeling stupid about everything is making me cry. Hormones: One zillion, Me: Zilch!!
